      Brilliance!

With summer almost upon us and me wearing rather alot of sandals and things of late I spotted this the other day in Boots costing £7.35 a tube and decided to try it out. I have dry and hard cuticles that cover alot of my nail on my tootsies and I not only wanted something to soften them so that I can trim them better but wanted something that would possibly moisturise all of my nails as they do tend to go dry and very flaky often and are not as strong in general as I would like them to be and this box of product gives off the feeling that it is practical one rather than a cosmetic item and I have used other products such as this in the past and it hasn't done a thing for me and with this costing a little more than I originally wanted to pay I just though it may well work! The Packaging: The long cardboard box is red, white and blue in colour and the front and the back of the box appear the same with a photograph of some toes on the front and we are told that it is Flexitol Cuticle And Nail Cream 'Trust Flexitol It Really Works', For Feet 'Moisturises and conditions cuticles and nails' and that it 'Smooths away dry ragged edges' and that the tube is a net weight of 20g. Other information on the box includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, cautions and ingredients are also stated as are contact details for Laderma Pty Ltd. The tube is white plastic with a screw on/off matching lid to the bottom of it concealing a smallish hole and all the information on the tube is basically the same as what we are told on the box such as what it is on the front and a bit about the product and how to use it on the back of it and so on. Nice enough, plain and unisex looking packaging this is which sort of looks medical so makes us think it may have a chance of working! lol. A Bit About The Product According To The Information Listed On The Packaging: Flexitol Cuticle And Nail cream has been scientifically formulated to condition the cuticles and the nails of your feet. With emollient and moisturising properties, this rich formulation efficaciously smoothes away dry, ragged edges keeping cuticles soft and pliant. The Cream Itself: The cuticle and nail cream is just that really in its texture. It is a bright white in colour and although thick enough squeezes out of the squeezy tube with real ease and is really smooth. It has a lovely, light and sweet floral aroma to it but don't worry if you don't like it, it isn't the end of the world as the initial smell of it disappears after a few minutes of applying it anyway but I really like it and personally wish that it lingered longer! So all you need to do is to massage this daily (for best results) into the toe cuticles (the clearish bit of skin that is at the base of nails) and into the nail itself. You really don't need very much to do this per application and you simply and gently, lightly massage it which is simple work. It feels a little greasy, gets absorbed very fast quickly and that it that! However if you want a more intensive treatment because your cuticles are sore, jagged or just really, really unsightly or the nails are really dry then you can apply a generous amount of the cream to each toenail (where you need it) and massage it in well and then soak your feet for two minutes in warm water and then wipe off the excess cream. I absolutely love this cream! Not only is it economical (as you really don't need very much per application at all) its simple to massage into my nails, it dries very quickly and leaves no visible or feeling of residue whatsoever on my nails and/or skin. It softens the cuticles from the moment you use it making them easy to remove or push down with an orange stick or whatever implement you choose to use. I found that from the moment I used this my nails looked more healthy, I find now I get less breakage and chipping and no more flakes or dry looking nails appear at all. My cuticles are generally smoother and easier to look after.... I mean they still grow but after having a big removal of them on the day I got this cream now I simply use it to strengthen my nails and to keep my cuticles moisturised so that they are easier to remove. This is just a really great, easy to use and totally effective cream for nails and cuticles. A little goes a long way so its economical and I have absolutely no whines about this at all! Available in all good chemists or goggle on line if interested! This review is also posted on Ciao under this same username.
