This is an amazing product that treats your feet and renews them quickly. It reduces the appearance of ragged cuticles and softens callused heels. It contains the vitamins E and C to protect and also aloe vera to soothe the skin highly. Available from Avon at a low price - though yet again I payed just £1 whilst it was on offer as I am one of those bargain hunters that doesnt really buy from avon unless it is on offer hahahah! I apply this at night time whilst sitting on the edge of the bed and then go to sleep whilst it works its magic. With summer here we all want to be able to wear flip flops so I use this to soften the heels and toes. Its a little greasy so I make sure I have a baby wipe handy to wipe my hands with after. When I wake up in the morning they are much softer ready for the day ahead! Also, after long walks or long trips which make your feet sore this is also a great product as it soothes the pain of that sort of thing. Deffo use this product! :)
I bought this product at the same time as the pedi-peel pads so they were onoffer at 3 for £5 instead of the usual price of this product which is £4.50. I don't get an Avon book anymore as I don't know anyone who does it but you can get it on eBay at the moment for around £2.50. The cream comes in a metallic silver tube with the lid at the bottom which is nice as you don't have to spend ages trying to get the last bit of cream from the bottom of the tube. This product uses an AHA smoothing complex to renew and resurface dry and rough skin. The cream helps to intensively moisturise the skin, reduces the appearance of ragged cuticles and softens callused heels. It contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E to protect the skin along with Aloe Vera to soothe it. Directions for use: After bath, shower or foot soak, dry skin and apply cream to feet and legs. The tube is 75ml and I tend to use it weekly after I have used the pedi-pads. Ideally you should it nightly before you go to bed as your skin takes in the most moisture while you are asleep. I still have about 1/4 of a tube left after 4 months so it does last a long time. The cream is white in colour and has a slight minty smell which is always good for your feet. It is possibly a little bit runny but it is easy to apply and although it doesn;t soak into your skin straight away, it doesn't take long. I find that you only need a blob about the size of a 20p to do each foot. It leaves your feet feeling really soft and refreshed after you have used it and it lives your hands soft and smelling nice too.
This is a great product, I do not know of any other AHA foot creams. I suffer hard skin on the soles of my feet due to running quite alot. I bouht this cream and had it lying in a draw for a while before i got round to using it, but when i did, It instantly became a favourite. My feet have never felt so soft in all my life. Granted its not a miracle product that instantly gets rid of hard skin, but even when i woke up the next day my feet felt soft and pampered. It is definately a products that will improve the appearance of the bottom of your feet with prolonged use and it smells quite clean and is geneally very nice to use and like all avon products a little goes along way and i think that its great value for money personally
I got all excited when i saw this in the brochure, and have purchased it a few times since. being AHA, it was suposed to help shed the old dead skin cells, leaving your feet baby soft... mmmmmm i would describe this as OK if you have feet that are in tip top condition already, and use it as a maintance to the daily routine. if you have hard skin on you heels etc and feet are in poor condition.. dont bother, as for a very similar price there better to help with the problem. i will say this does feel a rich cream, which takes time to sink in which can be helped along if you wear sock or them booties for foot cream.. and the smell is fresh and calming. but in a nut shell, dont expect too much from this one.. its honestly more for feet in good condition already, but still a nice product :-)
I have a lot of dry skin and thickened areas on the soles of my feet, so I was recently looking for something to help this. I saw the Foot Works AHA Renewing Treatment in the Avon catalogue and thought it sounded like it would be really good. You can either buy this product through your Avon representative, if you are lucky enough to have one locally, or from the Avon online shop. It normally costs £4.75 but is often on special offer and is currently priced at £2.85. For this price you get 75 mls. The treatment comes in a silver metallic tube with the pink and blue Foot Works logo on the front. The tube has a clear plastic screw on lid, which annoys me, as whenever I take it off it always takes me ages to find it again due to it being transparent! The website states that this treatment helps with 'Dry, flaky, callused feet' and gives them 'some intensive moisture to soften, smooth and soothe'. The website also states that it 'Reduces the appearance of ragged cuticles' and 'Softens callused heels'. Apparently it contains 'vitamins E and C to protect and aloe vera to soothe the skin' plus AHAs which are fruit acids and are used to 'renew and resurface skin'. The treatment is easily squeezed out of the tube and is a thin, white cream. It smells quite minty but also quite medicinal and it is certainly not a pleasant scent, though fortunately it does not hang around too long. Because the cream is quite thin it's not very luxurious to rub in, though I don't mind that if it works. However it doesn't work. My feet are no more soft or moisturised than when I started using it. They are in exactly the same condition as when I began so I think the treatment has been a waste of time and effort, and I will not be buying it again.
