“ Brand: Kiwi / Spray / Type: Foot Spray / Suitable for: Foot „
I suffer terribly with my feet due to having Lymphodema in both legs and feet. I am in constant pain with them and have to where surgical stockings to help reduce swelling. In the summer months I don't tend to wear stockings. I use this spray to stop my feet rubbing on my shoes. The packaging~ Comes in rather an eligent looking spray bottle. The bottle is pink in colour and has a picture of a lady in a green dress with nice legs! Kiwi foot silk is made by Sara Lee the same people who make cakes and other products. Using it~ Simply spray on your heals and feet and where you can get friction or soreness. The spray has a floral scent to it. Once applied it feel cool and my skin feels silky smooth with a tooth of satin. I sprayed this on my feet first thing in the morning and found that I didsnt need to reapply until midday. A can off this lats about a week depending on how much you use it. A fantastic product for people who are on there feet all day. I would say it is o.k. for both men and women to use.
Rather often I will simply peruse the shelves in Asda. I live near a huge store and I just love to just mooch about and one day I came across this and decided to give it a go basically for the sake of it and it and it being called 'Foot Silk' had me slightly intrigued and I envisaged it giving me silky feeling skin! The Packaging: This, to the best of my knowledge comes in only one size and that size is 100ml in a slim peach coloured can with a push button aeresol dispenser to the top of it and a frosted safety cap that goes over that to protect it. On the front of the can there is a picture of some ladies legs and we are told that it is Kiwi Foot Silk 'Invisible Silk Veil' and that it helps to protect from shoe friction, keeps feet fresh and dry and delivers barefoot comfort and we all also told that information in foreign languages too. On the back of the can other information given also includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, cautions and ingredients are given as is that size (as I have stated already) and contact details for Sara Lee (the manufacturer of the product) are also given. Nice slim and easy to hold, good quality can this is and of course it is informative as it needs to be. A Bit About The Product According To The Information Given On The Back Of The Can: Kiwi Foot Silk the unique plesure of an invisible wrap with pur silk that helps to protect you feet from shoe friction. Also leaves you feet fresh and dry. 24 hour efficiency. Using It: All you do to use this is spray it at about 15cm away from your foot and you get a feeling of cold spray on your feet. Cover all of your feet and that is it, you can use it as many times in a day as you desire unless you get any discomfort or adverse reactions to then you simply stop using it! I was impressed that although this sprayed out cool onto my feetI didn't get a wet feeling on them at all and any residue that there was dried quickly leaving no appearance of residue behind at all. The smell of this is a unisex, fresh light fragrance that has a really clean feel to it and it is sort of floral, but like I say unisex and that fragrance does linger on the feet for about an hour that I've noticed anyway but not all day or anything. However this does nothing for me or my flatmate/bestmate that tried it. I really thought that it would give me a softness and help keep my feet comfortable in shoes etc but all it did was give a fresh smell to my tootsies for a limited time only and a slight feeling of a clammy residue which I guess was a bit of oil. It didn't on a positive note make my feet slide about in footwear or anything adverse and I wouldn't say I was uncomforatble with this on my feet however it just didn't do much for me and I wouldn't miss it if I never bought it again. Although this is nicely fragrant is isn't an odour eliminator so the fragrance is purely cosmetic but worse than that it just doesn't do anything at all and I really had high hopes for this one! Google if interested in this or it is available in all good supermarkets etc priced at about £1.35 a can.
