Expect a lot of beauty product reviews over the next few days, blame the people who bought me birthday presents LOL. Anyway as I mentioned in an earlier review I got a big Montagne Juenesse gift set for my birthday and in it was a load of stuff not only for your face but for the rest of your body as well. This was one product I had never tried before in fact I rarely use fancy products on my feet so I decided to keep it to use it when my feet needed pampering. That was the day after! A night of walking, dancing and standing around in high heels really does knacker your feet out so I hoped this would perk up my tired tootsies. This is a really great product - god Im even sick of hearing that about this range but it is true. This does wonders for tired feet and my feet were up for another night up town after using this.
A Bit About The Product:
Designed to perk up tired feet and leave them cool and really fresh.
This product is suitable for vegetarians, is gluten and dairy free and has no added parabens so everyone can enjoy this foot mask.
I highly recommend that you apply this just before bed and then put on some socks as otherwise this application could be pretty messy. Now when you first apply this it comes out of the packet as a clear gel and you apply it all over the bottom of your feet and toes and if you have got enough then everywhere else because it cant do any harm. But when this starts to develop it turns into a very fine talc - I told you it would be messy. There is enough in one packet for only one application on both feet [obviously!] and thats great value for moeny considering how cheap this product is.
The smell of this gel/talcis definately worth mentioning I reckon because it is lovely. It has the obvious minty smell that you would associate with this kind of product but as it turns to talc a much more fruity scent starts to appear. I just looked at the MJ website and I found that the fruity scent is blueberries and those two scents I didnt think would mix very well at all but they really do. Lovely smelling feet!
When I woke up the next morning my feet felt bloody amazing. I was up for another night up town and my feet looked amazing and felt super soft. I didnt even need to apply any extra moisturiser because they felt so great already and they smelt gorgeous. The product is an all round winner in my opinion and I will definately be buying another packet for next time.
I highly recommend that everyone tries this out because at 99p you cant complain. 10/10 for this product.

In one of the markets in town at the weekend they were selling hampers of Montagne Jeunesse products for £10.00. There was 18 sachets in a wicker basket so I brought 3 hampers, one each for my 2 best mates for Xmas and the other one for me because I love Montagne Jeunesse
One of the products in it was this weird foot shaped sachet of Foot Cooler and I used it the same day because my feet were killing me after traipsing the length of Birmingham city centre all day!!!
It's a gel that you massage over your whole foot including between your toes and the top of your foot. I could instantly feel how cool the gel was, it's not sticky at all and is proper refreshing straight away. I thought I'd hate the feel of it between my toes but the gel has got such a nice texture that it was ok.
As soon as I'd applied it I noticed it was going a bit powdery, I hadn't read the sachet before using it but when I checked this is normal and after a few minutes my whole feet were covered in a lovely soft talc. That's great because it means you don't have to rinse the gel off your feet, but it makes a bit of a mess so if you're using the gel at night you should put a pair of cotton socks on to go to bed unless you want your sheets covered with white powder!
There was enough gel in the sachet to comfortably cover both my feet and the smell is gorgeous. It's not as strong as I thought it would be but the mint comes through good and I think that's a lot to do with how refreshing the gel is. There's also the smell of iced blueberry in it but I can't pick that out too much apart from a fruity smell that is under the mint and comes through quite sweet when it has turned to talc.
The Foot Cooler doesn't have any other benefits like softening my skin or moisturising my feet, it was lovely to use after all the walking the other day but in the summer a bowl of cold water and a splash of Johnsons talc would do the same thing for a lot cheaper. Who wants to stick their feet in cold water in December though so this is brill for the winter months when you're feet are killing you.

This comes in a lovely sachet shaped "like a foot." On the front of it you will see written "day long dry fresh, "deodorising" and "anti bacterial formula." Then at the bottom "cream foot talc" its colouring is "very tropical" and the sachet is nice to look at. At the top there is leaf's on the toes at the right side of the foot and it says "anti stress. At the left side of the foot there is pictures of blueberries on the toes. The most used colours on this are a "mint green" colour and a "ice cool" blue colour. The inside of this where the foot cooling liquid is "is made" of foil.
On the back of the sachet you will see written " Give your feet a treat with out natural blueberry and mint foot cooler wet talc. Stay cool and fresh throughout the day or ease the strain of a hard day on your feet. "Ideal for use" with out foot scrub. Ordinarily i would ignore these suggestions to use "other products" from a range to make something work better and just stick with the one i have.
I think that they are usually "just lies" and that it doesn't improve the effect of the product that i have one bit. It seems that they do this to just "suck" more money out of people. However this actually "really does" work better with there foot scrub. Like i mentioned in a previous review on the foot scrub, they work in harmony with each other. The cooler is "already cool" then the scrub added to it does enhance "the effects" but even alone this is a very relaxing feet treat. The instructions tell you to "gently massage" this over your "whole foot" especially between the toes. This is suitable for daily use.
WHAT ARE IT'S CLAIMS?
This claims to make you feel relaxed and that the liquid will quickly smooth away to a soft and silky powder. It claims that you will have "no need" to rinse after using this and tells you that there is a sufficient amount supplied for both feet. This is of "vegetarian standard" and is not tested on animals.
WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW?
Like with all of it's other products "Montagne Jeunesse" tell you to do a sensitivity test. This you do by "simply placing" a tiny amount on the inside of your upper arm. If you have a reaction to this "then you should" discontinue use. This also is not for use on babies or children. and, is for external use only. The ingredient's may vary in colour.
WHAT IS IT LIKE?
When i put this on to my hand i noticed its a pale blueish, green colour. The sort of colour that the "blue airwaves",chewing gum is. It felt cool from the "minute" it touched my feet and the feeling of coolness lasted ages. When you massage it on you can feel it turning into a talc and it feels lovely.
DOES IT WORK?
Yes its claims that the liquid turns into talc are true "it happens" quite fast but can be messy. I am sitting on a "black sofa" writing this and it is now covered in white bits of talc. This feels lovely on your skin and it does deodorise and i "definitely" felt relaxed while using it and for a while after too. My feet do feel "dry and fresh" all day after use off this. So it also works in that sense. There is also "more than enough" supplied for both feet so that is also true.
I loved this, the fact it "turns into talc" means you don't have to wash it off after using it. So you can relax, get comfortable, watching your favourite tv show or what ever you choose to do and not have to be disturbed "when it needs" washed off. I think its clever that it is designed in the shape of a foot and the packaging is lovely.
When i opened this it was slightly hard to get it out of the sachet "without it falling" out. I do not think i will be making a habit of buying this even though it "does tell you" that you can use it daily. After one of the lovely reviewer's on this site told me that talc can cause cancer. It has made me hesitant to use it as much.
There is so much supplied in this that if used sparingly "i have found" that there is enough to do my feet "twice over." This smells very strong, the mint is "the most prominent" scent that comes from it but even though it smells strong, it is still pleasant. It feels "lovely" on my skin and my skin feels super soft too after applying it, even "my hands" do aswell because i used them too apply it.
This is another effective, great product from "Montagne Jeunesse" it does "everything" that it says it will with "lasting effects" and it's only downfall is the messy talc left over but what "do i expect" it worked excellently and that is of the main importance and was the main reason that i bought it. I still believe it does deserve five dooyoo stars because messiness and all included it is still wonderful.
I love all of the products from this range and this one is "no exception." I have "never regretted" purchasing one of them because even the "very few" which haven't in my opinion been quite "as effective" as promised. Even those still felt great on my skin or hair "depending" on which product i had and they are always a nice treat and they really do help me relax.
All the Montagne Jeunesse products smell lovely and are of high quality. I think it's excellent that they are "not tested on animals." I love that about them, the colours "never do seem to be as bright" as they appear on the sachet that is the "only thing" that i find disappointing about them because the colours on the packaging "often look" very bright and fun and in reality they really are not quite so astonishingly bright.
This does not effect "how wonderful" they are to use though and has never stopped me from continuing to buy them. This is the first range of products where i find myself wanting to try them all. Overall this is a great product, it's effects last ages after application and i will continue to buy them. If you want to see "the full range" of Montagne Jeunesse products.
They have a wonderful website with lots of reasons to sign up such as the possibility of a bundle of freebies from "there range" if you are chosen to answer a questionnaire and some fun games too. The website is http://www.montagnejeunesse.com its a lovely, nicely presented site and i recommend giving it a visit "if you like" there stuff or are intrigued and want to find out more about it,
These cost between £1 and £2 and can be gotten in a wide range of shops on and off line.
