Scholl offer a range of products designed to keep your feet in great condition.
~Ice Foot Spray~
Presented in an aerosol can, this foot spray is designed to cool and deodorise hot and tired feet. The spray has an unique formulation which turns the contents into a crackling mousse as it makes contact with your feet.
It is recommended that you shake the can, spray onto the feet and massage in until absorbed.
This foot spray can be purchased from Lloyds the Chemist for £5.15. This is for a 150ml can. It can also be found online for a similar price.
I bought my can of foot spray in Boots last year for 70p. It was part of a clearance offer as they were either discontinuing it (in my local store) or changing the packaging. The can is now white and purple as opposed to all white. I feel £5.15 is quite expensive for this type of product but given how effective and long lasting it is, it doesn't seem quite so extortionate!
I suppose this was a bit of a novelty product at first and something which I hadn't ever used before. When I bought a can, it was the middle of Summer and my son and nephew appreciated a tiny spray of this on their tootsies whilst down at the park or at the seaside. It is gentle enough for children to appreciate as well but I have mainly used it for my own feet.
The can is very easy to operate. Once the lid has been removed, there is a push down cap which requires a small amount of force to release the spray onto the feet. When the mousse makes contact with my feet, it feels lovely and light and within a second or so, it turns to a layer of fizziness! It is a rather 'cool' product to use on the feet and is very tingly and refreshing as soon as it is applied.
The fizziness lasts quite well and as I massage it across my feet, it crackles and feels incredibly refreshing and cool. The fizziness spreads well across my feet and is very gentle - almost like very nourishing water. It has a light, pleasant scent which lingers and leaves my feet smelling very fresh which is always a bonus when the warmer weather strikes!
Once the fizziness has fully absorbed (less than 30seconds) my feet feel soft and smooth. I am able to put my socks and shoes on quickly and I don't feel like I am slipping about due to damp feet. The results of this spray are instant and only a tiny amount is actually required. The spray definitely refreshes my feet and makes them feel less sore and uncomfortable if I have been walking a lot. It is long lasting too as I only need to apply it the once and can notice the results several hours later.
I personally find it best to keep this one at home and apply after a long walk. Because it needs to be fully massaged into my feet, it isn't as convenient as a refresher spray in my opinion but is perfect for treating the feet after a long day.
This foot spray performs well. It is easy to use, refreshes and softens my feet and deodorises them at the same time. My can was used well through the Summer and has been resurrected from the cupboard for the latest bout of warm weather. It has no recommended shelf life but my can has a best before date of September 2013.
Thanks for reading :)
I bought this a few months ago as I liked the sound of this product and I am always looking out for different products for me feet. I like to try and treat my Feet as they are usually tucked up in Boots or Trainers so why not give them a bit of a freshen up.
I liked the sound of Crackling Ice. I had an image that this would be fresh and cooling and although I don't really suffer from really hot and sweaty feet they can usually be a bit clammy.
When you squirt this out it comes out as a Gel and stays as a Gel until to start to rub this in and it changes to a Mousse. I am used to just using a Cream on my feet or perhaps a spray so this was different. This comes out in quite a thick blob so you don't need much of this. When you apply this then you feel the tingling sensation from this and it is a nice slight fizz. This rubs in easily enough and seems to leave a light coating on your feet which seems to provide a slight barrier. This doesn't leave your feet freezing cold or that, but if your feet are a bit clammy then this will soothe them and it feels nice. I was surprised at how long this kept Cooling after application.
I have used this quite a few times already and there is still plenty of this in the tin.
I got this on an offer from a local Chemist and I paid £3 for this and I think the normal price is around £5.
A good cooling Foot product which gets my Feet nice and Cool.
I suffer terribly from hot aching feet so am always on the look out for something that will help soothe and cool them. I actually got this Scholl crackling foot gel from my mum as I had been complaining about how hot my feet got and she had some in the cupboard that she gave me to try.
The gel comes as a spray formulation that comes out as a gel but when you start to rub it in to the skin it becomes a mousse. The sensation of the mousse/gel is quite a strange one as it actually does crackle when you use it. You can actually hear the fizzing sound of the gel when you are rubbing it in as well as actually being able to feel the fizzing on your skin.
The fizzing sensation actually lasts longer than just a few seconds and you can continue to feel it as it is absorbed in to the feet. To begin with I didn't think I would like the gel because the sensation of the fizzing was so strange but as it almost immediately began to cool my feet I overlooked it and after the second or third application I actually began to enjoy the slightly strange crackling sensation.
The gel gives an almost immediate cooling sensation and the massaging motion along with the cooling down really does help to ease weary feet and the feeling that it gives is lovely after a long day on my feet especially when I wear heels.
I love lush cooling feet cream and masks but I find that this is easier to use in the middle of the night when it is one of the worst times for me to suffer from almost burning soles. I also find that this absorbs in to my skin really quickly meaning that I can just apply some and not have to worry about rubbing it in for too long if I am in a rush.
It also has a really lovely smell to it and although my feet do not generally smell this does have a good deodorising action so that I can be confident that my feet won't smell even after being in shoes for the whole day. The gel also leaves my feet looking in good condition and I was quite impressed with how soft they were afterwards as this is something I wasn't expecting the gel to do.
I have nearly run out of the gel and I fully intend to buy some more when this bottle is finished. It can be bought n places such as boots and superdrug and costs around £5.
***FEET IN GENERAL***
Feet are probably the most abused, even more than hands. In the winter, we force them into boots and other footwear that is either too tight or unsuited for the shape of our feet. Feet support our weight and sweat in central heating while freezing on the cold pavements and they need regular routine care. Feet should be moisturised at least once a week, and also a full pampering session once a week as well.
I hate feet and think they are just weird looking, and it's a part of the body that most people don't really look after. As everyone will know feet can become prone to hard skin and can end up looking and feeling rough which doesn't look good, especially as it's coming up to summer and us girlies will want to wear our flip flops, pretty sandal's and summer shoes. I have never really looked after my feet in the past but since starting to model I have started to look after my feet more often and try to get them looking as best as I possibly can . . . if that's possible! So off I went to Boots to see what treats I could find for my feet!
Scholl make a large range of products for the feet and are a very well known brand for making products such as Insoles, Foot Spray, Shoe Spray and other products especially to look after and care for your feet. Their products can be found in pharmacies, Superdrug, Good Supermarkets and Boots stores. Prices may vary between stores but very often these products are on offer in Boots and Superdrug.
Some of the other products available to buy in the foot-care range are:
* Foot Smooth Shower Scrub
* Intensive Night Treatment
* Crackling Ice Foot Spray
* Moisturising Mousse
Scholl footwear is also available to buy from their website (www.scholl.co.uk). Their shoes range from Boots, Sandals, Slippers, Clogs and other styles of shoes as well. Their range of shoes is for men as well as woman and have benefits to some of them which can include special support for the heels.

***CRACKLING ICE FOOT SPRAY***
The Crackling foot-spray is available to buy in a 150ml can. Scholl Crackling Ice Spray is an invigorating fizzy spray to cool, deodorise and to revitalise hot, tired feet. The formulation which is a gel, turns to a crackling mousse on application which leaves your feet feeling silky soft, cool and refreshed. To use the product simply spray onto your hand or feet and massage in, until fully absorbed. The crackling sensation will continue until the product is absorbed.
This is available to buy from boots for £4.99 and is currently on offer on 3 for 2 on selected pampering foot care products so you mix this with other Scholl products as well. You can also buy this from www.scholl.co.uk for £4.88 which is slightly cheaper, but that doesn't include postage costs.
***USING THE PRODUCT***
I first came about using this product when I bought the Scholl Nail Brightening system, as this was a free gift with it. It wasn't until this week after getting out the bath that my feet felt very hot and tired, this was probably due to the fact I had walked to and from in my flips flops which my feet probably aren't used to this year yet due to the lack of sunshine so far.
I remembered I had this product and thought I would give it a go so I simply shock the can before use and sprayed a small amount onto the under-side of my feet. The first thing I thought of when this went onto my foot was the popping candy you used to be able to get in bags when I was a child. The sensation of this on my foot was quite strange and it was tingling, and you could hear the cracking sound which also sounded like popping candy once it's in your mouth!
I sprayed some onto the other foot and thought I would massage it in with my hands. As soon as I touched my foot where I applied the product my hand pulled away, because of the strange sensation and the popping feeling beneath my hand. How-ever I did rub the spray into my feet until the product had been absorbed in.
The spray definitely helped to make my feet feel cool and fresh. The spray also has a nice smell to it as well, which is quite sweet and reminds me of the smell of some kind of bubble bath or something similar, which is used in the bathroom. The spray also helped to revitalise my feet and make them feel soft and smooth.
When applying this product it's the most strangest sensation ever and I wasn't quite expecting the crackling spray to feel and sound like popping candy. The product does work and it smells nice as well. I don't think this is something I would buy on a regular basis and I'm sure if I bought one can of this, it would last quite a long time. If you suffer from tired feet occasionally after work or something like the gym, this is handy to have in your bag and you can simply spray it on your feet. I did also spray some of this on my mum's feet and she also thought the sensation was very strange and she wasn't too sure about it. My sister liked the smell of the product but again wasn't too sure about the crackling sensation when applying the product. In my opinion this is a great product as it does what it say's on the can but for me the sensation was just a bit too strange!

This stuff is truly amazing and is something that may sound odd, but it really is a life saver for your feet.
The crackling foot gel, is basically what it says it is, a gel that you put on your feet and it crackles and cools. I find this stuff is the best thing for sore, hot feet after a long day at work, or a hard night out clubbing. It is really easy to use too, just spray some onto your feet, and rub it gently to feel the crackle relaxing your feet, like a mini foot rub, as the gel cools your feet. It does tickle a little to start with, so if you have very sensitive or ticklish feet, be gentle when using this.
The gel has a lovely fresh, minty smell to it. The gel comes in a 250ml bottle and lasts for ages, as you only need a tiny bit to make your feet feel good again. You can buy this in Boots, Superdrug, selected shoe stores and in some larger supermarkets and it usually costs around £5. It will last for ages, so it is good value for money, and if you are in a job where you are on your feet all day everyday, I recommend you get yourself some of this wonder gel as it really will make such a difference to your feet.

So you are on holiday your feet hurt they are really sun burnt and in need of a real good cooling down this is where this product works amazingly!!!
It is a really funny product you can hear it crackloing away as you get a cool blast on your tired hot feet. They are instantly refreshed and cooled, they become transformed and new and ready to go again. The spray needs to be applied on the bottoms of your feet and you need to hold the spray about 15 cm away for the feet then sprayed on for an instant result.
The bottle is pink and works instantly the formula is clear and you can hear it cracking away there is no pain involved just pure pleasure and relief.
It only gets better as this product also acts as a deodrant on the feet so not only do you have cool feet you also have relieved and great smelling feet.
Well worth owning wether you are on holiday or at home and in need of refreshements!
This can costs around £1.99 and a little bit goes a really lond way you will not feel let down by this product by Scholl.
I recently got a free tester while at the clothes show in December, and have used it since. The only problem is i can't seem to find it anywhere to buy.
It is advertised as a cooling gel for hot and tired feet, and that is exactly what it does. It makes a sound on your feet and also tickles slightly. Cools down feet instantly after a hard day on your feet. It does exactly what it is advertised as doing. It also says it deodorises feet, but cant comment on that as mine dont smell :)
It smells quite nice too, kind of floraly but with a hint of fruit somewhere. When it first comes out the can, it bubbles up into a foam like substance and crakles for a minute until it is all gone and absorbed into your feet. The canister is of a very nice design and colour, but doesnt seem to pop out on the shelves as i havent found it since.
Overall, a really good product, if you want to cool your feel after a tiring day. Smells great aswell
As I was going on holiday I took myself on a trip to wilkos to purchase a stock of travel size toiletries. I purchased a bottle of Scholl fresh step crackling ice foot gel in the hope it would keep my feet cool. It cost 96p for a 35ml can.
It advertises on the can as instantly cooling, revives tired feet and deodorises.
I took it away on holiday and returned home with it unopened as we didn't have any hot weather so never felt any need to cool my feet. However a couple of weeks later I was lying in bed unable to sleep with hot feet when memories of my bright pink can popped into my head.
Directions: it advises to shake before use and then either squirt into your hand or directly onto your feet. Finally massage into your feet until it is fully absorbed.
I lay on the bed and sprayed the foam directly onto my feet. I instantly felt like I had sprayed space dust on my feet. I did feel instantly cooler it took less than a minute to absorb into my foot. As I massaged it into the feet the tingling from the crackling could be felt both on my feet and hands. I actually wanted to laugh out loud my feet. There was a fresh aroma that didn't seem fitting with the colour on the tin. I expected a rather feminine smell but would describe it as a unisex fresh aroma. The aroma does remain on both the hands and feet for a couple of hours.
I don't suffer from smelly or sweaty feet so I can't really comment on this but since using it again it does make me feel refreshed when my feet are tired and hot.
It does also promote on the can that it gives all day freshness. I do think that on a hot day it does need to be reapplied.
Can I live without this product? Yes but do I want to no. I will be buying a full size can as since my first trial I have used it several times to cool my feet down.
