~*~*~ Scholl Party Feet Invisible Gel Cushions ~*~*~
High heels, look great but hurt like hell. I must admit I have a very low pain threshold when it comes to wearing heels and this is due to having arthritis in my feet. However, this doesn't stop me going through horrendous pain to wear heels. On a night out if I am not wearing heels I just don't feel dressed up and being a 24 year old girl and all my friends are wearing heels I can feel pretty left out. So the way I have found to combat some of the pain is to wear wedges with a small heel, although I still feel quite a lot of pain when wearing small heels, and wear these Scholl Party Feet Gel Cushions.
~*~*~ What Are They? ~*~*~
Scholl Party Feet Invisible Cushions are gel pads which are designed to stick in the inside of your show to help prevent the burning pain in the balls of your feet. They comes in a pack of two, one for each shoe, and they are washable and reusable. The gel pads are clear which make then 'invisible' whilst being worn.

~*~*~ My Thoughts ~*~*~
The first time I saw this gel pads in the shop I thought all my birthdays and Christmas's had come at once. I do suffer a lot when wearing any kind of heel so anything that can help reduce the pain is a definite plus. I do think £3.99 is quite expensive for what they are but because they are reusable I thought I would get my moneys worth.
To use, you simply stick them inside the show wear the balls of your feet sit and then it's time to dance the night away. The good thing about this gel pads are they are incredibly sticky, which means they do not move and they feel very secure. When I first put my feet in the shoes these do feel very comfortable but as the night goes on the comfort does start to wear off. I think these pads are good to a certain extend but they are not as good as I was hoping for. I do still wear this in my shoes regularly because they do help relieve some of the pain which is definitely better than nothing.
Even thought these gel pads are reusable I would recommend keeping them in the shoes because once you have removed them the 'stickiness' does start to wear off.
~*~*~ Would I Recommend? ~*~*~
Yes, I would recommend this product, they help relieve some discomfort and are easy to apply to the shoes. They are not as great as I thought they were going to be, but then again I was probably hoping for too much. Overall I would give this product 3 out of 5 Dooyoo stars. I don't love them but I do still wear them from time to time.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review :o)
I hate wearing high heel shoes, though when I am going out at the weekend, I sometimes wear them if a dress does not look good with flat shoes, also I sometimes need a little bit of extra height as I am much shorter than most of my friends. I decided to buy these as my feet can never handle wearing high heels and I wanted to be able to wear them for a night out a few months ago, now I never wear heels without them.
These gel cushions are clear and discrete, they are designed to be fitted at the balls of your feet, which can get very sore over time when you are wearing high heels. I find that when I am wearing them that they are invisible and no one can tell if I am wearing them as they are perfectly sized and shaped for my feet.
These gel cushions are a little thick and feel really cool and comfortable on my feet when I first put them on, then as the night wears on they still feel nice and comfortabl. They stay in place perfectly thanks to little bumps and grooves in their gel surfaces and mine never slip out of place even when I am dancing and having fun with my friends.
You can buy one pair of these gel party feet cushions for £3.99 in Boots, one pair lasts me quite a few times before it loses its stickyness and stay power, but I still think that this is quite an expensive price, never the less I still buy these because they really do stop pain in my feet so the price does not put me off. Sometimes these party feet cushions go on offer, so it is best to keep an eye out for them if you are looking to buy them.
Overall I think that these gel cushions are a great buy, they are a little expensive, but they seriously reduce how sore my feet are after a night out and make wearing high heels a lot less painful and are basically invisible when you put your shoes on, even open toed ones if you place the gel cushion properly. Overall I would give these gel cushions 4 out of 5 stars.

I love my high heels. For a night out I never feel fully dressed if I am not wearing heels, they make you taller, improve your posture and in my opinion just make your whole outfit look nicer. I've got a really nice shoe collection that I love but since having my second baby my feet haven't been the same. I had heard that in pregnancy sometimes a woman's shoe size can go up one size and then it just stays that way and does not go back to its originally size. My feet swelled enormously to the point where all I could wear were Crocs or flip flops. Thankfully they have gone back to their original size but unfortunately my shoes just don't fit the same way anymore. Some shoes ate tight, some rub in places where they never used to rub before and most are just plain uncomfortable!! Most of them now give me that horrible burning rubbing feeling in the ball of my foot. Maybe it's the angle of the shoe or my foot in the but when I wear a pair for a night out the balls just rub and rub and I end up with quite a friction burn and then am not able to walk the next day in regular shoes without my feet being really sore.
As I still want to wear my high heels I decided I needed to try something to make my shoes more comfortable. That's why I decided to buy these Scholl party feet gel cushions. I was browsing around Boots and saw these which are, "designed to help prevent the burning pain in the balls of the feet," so exactly what I was looking for.
The cushions are basically thin jelly like little slabs which look like thin chicken fillets (the things to make your boobs look bigger). They fit into your show and basically stay there as they have a sort of non slip feel to them. I have never had them fall out of my open toed shoes and actually once you have your ball of your foot on them too they create a nice solid feeling and do not slip around. They actually give you a really nice comfortable feel and it feels like you are walking on padding which is a lot nicer than having your feet burn and rub with every step. The gel tends to mold to the bottom of my feet too and takes on the contours of the balls of my feet so cushions them well. At the end of a night my feet do not hurt half as much as they used to. No, these will not make you feet pain free and make your high heels feel like you are wearing flat shows but they do take a lot of pain and discomfort away and are something I definitely recommend.
One pair of these gel cushions cost £3.99 and are reusable so are good value in my opinion.
As I was getting married recently I wanted to ensure that I would be as comfortable as possible in 5 inch heels! I purchased two products for my feet, the School Sore Spots & Scholl Party Feet ultra slim cushions. I paid about £4.70 for these and received my other item for 1/2 price which I thought was a reasonable enough deal.
These gel cushions come provided in a little hard plastic case and you just unpeel a sticker on the back and open them up. The packet could be resealed quite easily which is handy if you'd use these again (I won't!). From what I can remember the packaging was good at ensuring that the stickiness was not destroyed before I got round to using these cushions. All I had to do was peel them back and then stick them in place in my shoes and I placed them just underneath where my heel would sit in my shoes.
Let me just point out, before I continue, that the shoes I was wearing were purchased new for our wedding but I did wear them for an increasing amount of time, around the house, before the wedding to ensure that they were sufficiently stretched out and I had no problems what so ever with them being too small, tight or poor fitting and was able to wear these for a few hours every night while I did my housework and finished wedding preparations and I did not suffer any discomfort at all.
On the morning of my wedding I went to use these gel cushions for the first time. They were simple to fit and took just a few seconds to get in the right position. They were flexible, thin and made of a jelly like substance. They felt soft yet substantial enough to cushion my feet and were very simple to use. When I walked down the 48 stairs in my wedding dress I felt no problems at all and they were comfortable enough. I then proceeded to travel to our wedding, marry my husband and pose for some pictures. We were posing for our first lot of photographs for around one hour and then my feet suddenly began to burn. This, naturally, made me quite agitated and I couldn't wait to travel in the car to our reception so I could remove the cushions from my shoes and at first I just assumed that my feet were uncomfortable in the shoes and it didn't initially click that it was these cushions. Once we were in the car on the way to the reception I removed my shoes and these gel cushions, and the gel spots I used, and then put my shoes back on to finish having our photographs taken. I must say that it was these cushions, rather than the spots, that caused my feet to hurt so much, they rolled down and became like a sausage shape underneath.
I'm not sure if it was because the weather was very hot (25 degrees thanks God!) or if it was because of a problem with the way I placed these cushions but I must say that the shoes felt fine again once I removed the cushions. I don't believe the gel spots were causing any problems and think that these were actually helping and these cushions probably stayed in place for no more than 30 minutes which just isn't good enough! I definitely won't be using these again and I don't recommend them either, I was very disappointed with the quality of these for the price paid and while this may have been a rare occurrence I'm not willing to chance it again, particularly as I needed these for such an important occasion!
