      Works like a dream

Tired unloved feet are a big summer let down. Once sandal weather kicks in fully and you need to get your tootsies out, you really need to give them a helping hand. Then Sanctuary Foot Scrub is part of the Covent Garden Spa's foot care range and the scrub works a treat with just a little effort.

The foot salt scrub can be bought in a 350g glass jar, costing around £3.99. The scrub is sealed within a simple glass jar, that has a rubber seal with a metal closure/ clasp. This means that the product inside is kept nice and fresh. Any messy leaks can be avoided, as long as the lid is locked down tightly. To me this is a must, as the product does contain various essential oils which could stain furniture or clothing if spilt.

Once you get the hang of applying the scrub your feet will be left much smoother and softer, left ready to slip into those glam summer shoes. Due to the light smell of the scrub I feel it can be used by both men and women, although it is marketed for women. So lads if you want to give this a try I won't tell if you don't. After all who says a lads feet can't get a bit of a pamper any way!

The idea of the product is that it removes dead skin cells around the foot area, which improves the texture of the skin there, leaving it full of moisture and extra smooth. I noticed that after using the product my tootsies were looking a great deal nicer and the effort needed to get the end result was minimal.

      **********************************************************
The foot scrub contains Dead Sea salt to exfoliate away dead skin and tea tree oil which is a well known and powerful natural antiseptic. These are combined with lavender oil, known to relax and calm the skin.

The mix of essential oils smells nice and fresh and is also antibacterial for the feet. I find that if you massage a little of the scrub onto dry skin using a light circular motion all over the feet, rinse well and pat dry with a fluffy towel you get really pleasing results with the minimum of effort.

      ********************************************************
Once you have finished with the scrub make sure that you always rinse the shower/ bath that you have used thoroughly, as the salt scrub can leave a dangerously slippery film of oil in its wake after use.

Using the foot scrub once or twice weekly really helps to remove any dead skin cells, which in turn will promote new cell renewal and leaving your feet silky smooth. The results are great with next to no effort at all and the fragrance that remains with you after use is both relaxing and light.
