Advantages: Good for the money, some cool little bits with it

Disadvantages: tight squeeze to fit it in the fire station

Once my son got all the sets he wanted from the lego police collection of products this was his next "thing", of course he wanted lego firemen to go with his lego police.

He bought this for £12 from toys r us, and to be honest for the fairly small price I thought it was quite an impressive vehicle, and set.

Along with the actual fire tuck, you also got a rather cool little trailer with a boat on it, and the boat does actually float so tends to end up in the bath at bath time with boy.

Also you get two mini figs and lots of cool accessories, including life jackets, breathing equipment and helmets.

The truck itself is big (but just about fits the lego fire station it's worth noting) and the ladder on it extends to quite a height. Also there's some storage places on the truck also.

Construction of this set was of medium difficulty, a little hard for my 6 year old but he managed some of it.

The set stays together well under normal play conditions, like most lego city sets it's excellent value.

Summary: another good value set that adds to the lego fire station
