This probably seems like a really insignificant review to write, but I bet there are a few people out there who are interested in the kind of value for money they'd get out of buying these Lego roads. It costs £6.99 for this pack of two from Amazon (this is the RRP) which I'll bet seems a bit expensive for many when surely the carpet will do for driving Lego cars along?

Well, I personally am glad I bought both this set and the other Lego roads set (7281). It doesn't just provide the Lego cars with somewhere to drive along, it also allows kids to specifically lay out where they want their roads to be and build up their little Lego world around it.

Not only that, but they can also build in extra features using the pins on the side of the straight section of road, and the pins in the corners of the crossroads section. These pins are perfect for adding roadside extras like flower sellers, roadsigns, benches and even petrol pumps.

These boards are really hard wearing so in the long run they represent good value for money. Kids as young as four can start playing with Lego and you'll probably find that the basic Lego bits like these boards will still be in use five years later. At £3.50 a board, these are durable, hardwearing and versatile toy add-ons that will last you for years so I think they're worth every penny.
