I bought this for my son as a well done for his good school report, I paid about £15 from it in Tesco.

These Mars Mission sets are excellent value for money, compare these to lego star wars and they are close to half the price, and often the sets are far better designed.

The set wasn't too hard to build, my 6 year old son managed it with very little help. The main part of the ship (the switch fighter) is quite well designed and the orange and white colour scheme is very striking. It changes very easily from a space ship to a ground vehicle and also has

The colours of the alien ship are also excellent with a bright green against a black, stands out amazingly and does look space aged. This is smaller than the other space ship in the set, which is understandable. The alien it's self is also glow in the dark.

This has provided hours of fun for my little boy and was well worth the money.

Summary: Excellent value alternative to lego starwars
