      Worth the money

==Lego Star Wars Battle Trooper 8083==

Jack is really a massive fan of both Star Wars and Lego and he now has a massive collection of the stuff and I don't really mind that either considering that Lego is one child's toy that is guaranteed to keep its value as even the second hand Lego on places such as ebay will sell for a high price and its not often that you come across a bargain.

This set however is a nice small one that is affordable and has enough playability to keep Jack entertained. The set costs a little under £10 and can't be found that much cheaper although you might be able to save a pound or two from shopping online and this set can be found in a variety of different shops and sites.

The set contains a total of 79 bricks with which to build the small speeder vehicle although there are four little figures which need putting together as well. You get one rebel pilot and three rebel troopers. The age range of this set is from 6 years to 12 although Jack is nearly 4 and he manages to built the figures himself and help a great deal with the building of the set.

The instructions that come with the set are so clear and easy to follow which is why I think Jack is able to do the majority of the building now even though he is really too young for it. This set didn't take more than 10 minutes to put together with both of us helping each other and once put together it looked like a really nice little set.

The small speeder is actually a fairly good side at inches long and looks like a good little item considering how much the set was and the fact that it came with the four figures as well. The figures are made really well and the little detail with things like their helmets and the goggle type of visors on these along with their little guns and back packs that fix on over their heads make the Lego really true to the characters in Star Wars.

The set is so good to play with and does take a bit of hard wearing play and doesn't feel too fragile like some of the Lego sets we have do. Jack can fly the speeder around with relative ease and it hasn't needed rebuilding too much. The fact that you can stand one of the little Lego figures onto the speeder makes for even better playability and means the item is not too small to have great fun with. I think for the price I can't actually fault this little set. It would make a great gift for any child and I think it can easily be enjoyed when played with on its own or of course adding it to an already growing Lego Star Wars set makes for a great addition.

I think the fact that it is cheap, well made and has hours of playability to gain from it that I can't really fault it and for that reason nothing but a top score of 5 out of 5 stars will do.

      Highly recommended!

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you

many thanks for taking the time to read.
