 ... and fragile the knights hold together pretty well, apart from the shield which comes off very easily and was the reason my son gave up playing with them. What I like most about these Lego Knights is that they take time to construct but even children can follow the instructions themselves and build an impressive-looking moveable toy. As a toy I've found they're fun, but to be honest an Action Man or other tough action figure is probably better for rough games....more

Knights Kingdom is a big Lego range that includesweapons, castles, bridges and mini figures, and a set of five taller figures sold separately, including Sir Danju. He comes with an assembly instruction booklet that has beautifully clear diagrams and an incomprehensible short picture-story at the back, involving all the knights in their kingdom. Each knight in the set is a different colour - Danju is purple - and has a slightly different sword and a different animal emblem on his shield, rather like medieval Power Rangers.
