... again our children have been spoilt for christmas by us and others. Both of my boys have asked for lego lego lego. So while we were out shopping for christmas we saw these figures that are made by lego called Bionicle. My step son had mentioned these on several occasions so we decided to get one big one which was under £10 and a small one which was £5. We also told the grandparents to pick one up of each for him too. He was over the moon about this presant when he opened it because he had been asking for them for months and had not been bought any so this was a very good presant from us. ... your kids aren t into Bionicles, this will all be an entirely foreign world to you. They re a fair bit like Lego Tecnic, only they re characters, not machines. Basically, this is a figure you assemble (if your child is 7+ they can maybe do it themselves), and then hopefully plays with. When we first started getting Bionicles, I would assemble them patiently, my son would play with them for five minutes, and then they would be ignored. Now he is obsessed. He builds his own custom bionicles, and he (and his little brother, and his friends) are all completely obsessed with them. They are doing independant creative play. ... have to say this bionicle is really good. Its got a staff of disintergration and a krata ( leech like creature that controls the rahkshi) in the back that you can flip out. It has a semi huminiod apperance and fins on its back because of its element (water). Taller than most of the other bioncles. The box opens at the bottem also you can peal off the back cover so you can put it on display in the box. Not too hard to fit in the box. Also its arms can move ,swinging the staff side to side, by a lever in the back. Brillant buy i would highly reccomend! And i would recommend all the other Rahkshi ( Turahk , Kurahk , panrahk , vorahk and leranhk. ) Abosolutly a Brilliant ...
