... t it annoying when making your child s Lego vehicle you just haven t enough wheels, either your child has been careless and the wheels seems to have disappeared or the creation you are making just needs two more wheels. I discovered a way to prevent those frustrations, buy a pack of Lego wheels. These may not be the most exciting Christmas present but maybe Christmas money could be spent on them after Christmas.... This is very useful as otherwise Lego tends to get everywhere, no excuse for not tidying the Lego away then. This box of Lego can be bought direct from the Lego shop online http://shop.lego.com and in many other department and toy shops RRP £24.49. This Lego town collection is suitable for children over 4. Not suitable for under threes or those who are still mouthing as the small pieces might be swallowed and stuck in throat. There are 689 bricks in this set. Lego 4837 Creator: Mini Trains ... you can t get much bang for your toy buck for under a fiver, but this, my daughter s latest saved up pocket money acquisition is a toy that that we have officially classified as "total bargain for the money". This lego set comes in its own little store case, that is about 10cm high. It promises you "3 in 1" and on this it delivers with instructions and the bricks to make 3 different train models. The three models can t be built all at the same time, but each is nice and detailed with about 15 steps and allows the child to build a steam train (as in the picture), a diesel train, and what I think must be a tram; I m not a train expert. Lego 4956 Creator: House ... my kids decided it was time their lego men had some where they could call home. I mean it s only fair after a hard shift policing lego city, working on the farm or out being spies that they had a nice place to put their feet up. My son got the lego creator beach house and my step daughter got this one. Being a creator set, there is no way my 6 year old was going to be able to put this together, so I done that for her so she could get on with the important part, playing. The house is a good size and looks very nice indeed, being a creator set it can made into other houses as well as the one on the box.
