      very good figure

The Lego Star Wars series continues with this fine looking fellow of a man. The success of the Kenner and Hasbro Star Wars toy range encouraged Lego to get in on the act of producing their own figures and the series has become collectable in its own right. I love the way that Lego have taken some original concepts and put their own twist on them. This keeps it fresh for fans like myself and it's also interesting to see what they're going to come up with next.

The Naboo Fighter is from the newer batch of films, you will see him taking part in the Naboo battles. There are several of these guys in the film, so why not buy a few for a few pounds and build a squad of them. The cost of the figure is about one to two pounds. I check online auctions to get bargains.

He has been really well designed and is made just like a normal Lego man. An inch in height and poseable at the head, arms and legs, so you can interchange him with any Lego playset. This guy has a basic face, but that is more than made up by his lovely helmet complete with goggles. Sometimes Lego do not inject enough passion into the designs of the head gear but this one looks very good.

His torso has strong articulation detailing his flying suit and you can visibly make out a collarline and his belt area. The colour choices are good and the way the patten has been broken up works very well here too. Offset with his brown slacks, the figure is a treat from head to toe. He does not come with a weapon, but his head gear gives him the look of a fighter pilot and this is enough for me. A very worthy addition to the Star Wars toy fleet.
