      Tremendous key ring for a Lego and or Star Wars fan

      Boba Fett is a real popular and cult character from the Star Wars movies even though he only appears very little and is a character of few words. He is the Bounty Hunter who plays a huge role in the capture and freezing of Han Solo and eventually delivers him to Jabba the Hutt.

      Star Wars merchandising is a massive market and there is a great deal of themed Lego from these films available. The quality of Lego products is brilliant but it can be expensive so if you are looking for a gift for someone or a treat for yourself then there are a number of Star Wars character Lego figure key chains or key rings available. Boba Fett is obviously one but you can find Yoda, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Stormtroopers and so many more and they start at around £2.99 in price so they are affordable.

      This Boba Fett Lego character is about an inch and a half in height with light grey and green body armour. He also has his trademark red, green and black helmet and on his back his famous rocket pack which plays a key role in his demise or at least you think so when you watch Return of the Jedi.

      Unlike your regular Lego mini figures the legs, body and head are stuck together but these key chains are still not suitable for children under the age of six as with further investigation I found that the tiny hands can be removed from the arms and so could be a choking hazard.

      If you are a Lego collector or a fan of the Star Wars Universe or know someone who is then these are relatively inexpensive and would make a tremendous little gift for that person. If you have one of these on your keys it would also make a really good talking point and other people would definitely notice it.

        Mini but mighty !!!

        ~~~ BOBA FETT ~~~
        As a character Boba Fett may not be as instantly recognisable as Darth Vader but the role he plays within the Star Wars Galaxy is just as important.
        Within the Star Wars movies he was the Bounty Hunter who captured Han Solo and froze him in block of carbonite during the events of The Empire Strikes Back. In Return Of The Jedi, the "good guys" got their revenge and Boba Fett met a sticky end when he was thrown into the hungry mouth Saarlacc on Tatooine.
        However, that was not the end of Boba Fett !!!
        Despite having only a handful of lines in the original Star Wars Trilogy, Boba fett was clearly a "fan favourite" and his character was soon brought back to life in the ongoing series of Star Wars novels.
        ~~~ LEGO STAR WARS ~~~

        Several years ago the Star Wars Galaxy and the global phenomenon that is Lego collided with the release of the very first Star Wars Lego sets. The idea itself was so simple but, at the same time, so brilliant. Iconic Star Wars characters had been reinvented as Lego Mini Figures and they were an instant hit ! When Lego started to develop video games they chose the Star Wars Saga and very quickly captured the hearts and minds of kids and "big kids" everywhere.

        ~~~ THE LEGO STAR WARS BOBA FETT KEYRING ~~~
        The success of the Lego Star Wars range of toys, games and collectable merchandise has been most impressive and at the centre of this success are favourite characters such as Boba Fett. There's just something "cool" about the way that Lego Star Wars looks ...
        The Lego Star Wars Boba Fett Keyring is a testament to the genius of the whole "Lego meets Star Wars" concept. As a Lego Mini Figure Boba Fett looks simply awesome. The iconoc Mandalorian Armour that Boba Fett wears has not lost any of it's style or substance and the visor, jumpsuit and jetpack are all screen accurate ...
        Boba Fett is one of my own all time favourite Star Wars characters and I bought my Lego Star Wars Boba Fett Keyring from the online Lego store a couple of years ago for just £2.99. They aren't sold in many places though and if the Lonline Lego has sold out then I suggest you try and find them on eBay.
        These days, Boba Fett joins me on my daily commute and hangs proudly from my laptop bag. He gets quite a few approving looks too ...
        ~~~ FINAL THOUGHTS ~~~

        If you a know a Star Wars fan then why not treat them to a Lego Star Wars Keyring. They're small, they're practical, they're great value for money and would make an excellent stocking filler. Above all ... they're cool !!!

        THANKS FOR READING !!!

          Boba Fett! Even more feared than Dog the Bounty Hunter

          After a visit a while back to the Lego Shop, which was great fun, we picked out some mini sets and figures to give as gifts. Some of those were bought as stocking filler gifts for xmas and so when we came across the Lego Star Wars keyrings they were just the kind of small add on gift we were looking for.

          The range of Star Wars themed keyrings include several different designs, but the one that is the subject of this review is a Lego Star Wars/ Boba Fett Keyring. These are a must have keyring for any avid Star Wars Fan and I can highly recommend them. Boba Fett is a Star Wars Legend! His part in the films may only be a little larger than the size of this keyring figure, but as a character he is very well loved.

          **********************************************************
          Those that we gave the Boba Fett keyrings to as gifts are still using them to keep their keys on and I am certain the cute little Lego Star Wars figures still raise a smile even now.

          Boba Fett is one mean dude! He is the bounty hunter of the Star Wars world. The most feared and revered bounty hunter ever! He was hired by evil Sith Lord Darth Vadar to find the Millenium Falcon spaceship, in the film The Empire Strikes Back. So its very fitting that Lego have deemed him interesting enough to produce him as a scary keyring dude!

          **********************************************************
          He may be small in stature at just 5.3cms x 5.3cms x 2.5 cms, weighing in at a lightweight 23g, but don't be fooled by that. Your Boba Fett keyring dude is mean enough to guard your keys day and night. He is made of sturdy Lego materials and is attached to a short key chain and ring. There is also a slim Lego logo block that comes attached.

          The Boba Fett costume is shown in a slightly brighter green than the real Boba Fetts, but other than that he looks as real and authentic as any Lego Star Wars keyring can. Boba Fett looks mean with his mask like helmet, you can't tell if he is smiling away at you or giving you an evil stare. But either way, you wouldn't want to make this little dude cross would you?

          **********************************************************
          He has moveable arms and claw like bits that pass for hands. He can grip small Lego swords, light sabers, etc with each hand and his arms can be raised up or down. He can sit, as his legs bend at the waist, or he can stand. His head can turn from side to side too. No Boba Fett would ever be complete without his trusty jet pack and his little guy comes complete with that too.

          The actual keychain and ring are very sturdy and should provide a nice safe place to hang your keys. I think we paid £2.99 for him and for the price, he has given his new owner a lot of laughs and done a good job of keeping all the keys in one place.

          **********************************************************
          These type of quirky things are always going to be a talking point and Boba Fett as a very popular Star Wars character would be a good choice for a small add on gift for any Star Wars fan.

          Over all, I feel the Lego Star Wars/ Boba Fett Keyring deserves a 4 star rating. He is just pipped at the post by Chewbacca, Wicket and of course the Dark Lord himself.

          Oh dear, what were you all thinking. Nooooo not Lawrence L-Bowen! Not that dark lord! I mean't the dark Lord Vadar of course!

          ....Mmm, his flouncyness, LL-Bowen on a keyring? Er no thanks!

          **********************************************************
          Think I will stick with the most feared bounty hunter of all times, even more feared than Dog the Bounty Hunter, the great Boba Fett! You know you want one to guard your keys too!

          NB: Keyrings may not be 100% suitable for all due to small parts.
          Care should be taken if buying for a child. Not suitable for children aged 5 years or under.

            Advantages

            A great addtion to your kys!

            Dooyoo like Lego?
            Dooyoo like Starwars?

            Well this could go either way, but never mind. If you own or have a set of key, or even one this keyring maybe your next purchase.

            This little lego chap is about 4cm high, and is made out of a very sturdy and robust plastic. As with all Lego people, this one is styled on Boba Fett. A famous and notorious bounty hunter from the Star Wars Universe. The keyring has moveable arms and legs.

            As you can tell from the image the chain is very strong and has the circular ring for you to attach your keys. Next to this is a hanging tag with the Lego logo on it.

            You will also find the paint does not come off easily, which is brilliant as key rings get batted about a bit!! They are made and coloured the same was as any other lego person. A really novel idea which can be great as a gift. Its a shame they dont make more lego keyrings available to review on this site. There are some available to buy from the lego site. Go check them out. Get a little bit of retro in your life!!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            quite a good design

            Boba Fett is possibly the meanest bounty hunter in the entire Star Wars universe. A fellow not to be crossed, even on a good day. It is Fett who assists in the capture of Han Solo at Cloud City. Unfortunately, in 'Return Of The Jedi' he is shortlived, meeting an untimely demise in the depths of the Salaac Pit. Rumour has it that Fett lives though and goes on fight another day...

            There have been numerous Fett toys made through the years, including an original toy by Kenner in the early eighties and a newer model by Hasbro in the nineties. There now exists a Boba Fett made of Lego, only with a keyring attached. This could be useful for Star Wars enthusiasts who wish to take him to work, in the car or just have lying round the house.

            The design is not bad, with pleasing greys and greens complimenting each other. His helmet has been crafted well with an accurate looking viser and a good mould. On his body, the greens benefit from a small amount of articulation to show his armour padding. Sadly the reverse of the figure is not as bulky as it could have been and Fett's jetpack is not as shapely as desired.

            He can be moved at the usual joints, arms and leg and head, so you could unattach him from the keyring and use him in a game of lego. One of the better sculptured pieces, he will cost you about three pounds. Definitely better the Princess Leia figure, I would consider getting him and I think the price is fair. If you're after a full size figure, go for the latest Hasbro model, which has far more articulation and comes with weaponry too.
