Ok so Sailor Girl Fancy Dress isn't exactly something that nobody has seen before, I've seen many girls out on the town etc. dressed in Sailor Girl costumes. So when it came to my friends and I having a Fancy Dress themed night out, I wasn't very keen on going dressed as a Sailor Girl since it's an outfit I've seen so many times before. In fact I almost went dressed in a Baywatch outfit! But then I came across this Sailor outfit online and it is nothing like the Tacky looking Sailor outfits that I'd previously seen on people. It looked simply stunning and really flattering and with its White & Navy colours and little Gold Anchor patterns it was a perfect Sailor girl outfit!

The Outfit comes pretty much comes with everything you need to complete the look - except for shoes! The outfit comes with;

Sailor Dress - The Dress is mostly White with Navy piping and Gold & Navy Anchors on it as well as Gold foil Bows, between the bust there is also a Navy Ribbon. The dress has a padded cup which actually fit my chest really well, I was concerned that it might look really loose fitting on the bust and keep Slacking down all night but it fitted Perfect. The Skirt part of the dress is Underwired so just like in the picture it is a little Floaty.

Matching Shrug - The oufit also comes with a Long Sleeved White Shrug which matches the outfit perfectly with Navy piping around the wrists and again the Shrug fits really well.

Sailor Hat - The matching hat that comes with the outfit is just as cute as the dress. It also has Navy piping and a Gold Anchor in the Middle of it. The only bad thing about the entire costume was that the Hat wouldn't secure onto my head very well, it would only just sit loosely on the top of my head. So I had to secure it in my hair with a few hair pins, which is always annoying to have to do because it then means I can't remove the hat all night.

Once the whole outfit was on it looked absolutely Gorgeous, it wasn't too short which I had worried about since I didn't want my bum to be on show all night! It was actually the perfect length for me and I was really pleased with it. It is quite a Lightweight material so I wasn't really hot in it either when we were in the bars. This costume is available in UK Sizes 6-8, 8-10, 10-12 and 14-16. As far as I know it is made by Disguises Fancy Dress Co. but it is available on a few different online sites for £20-£30.

This really is a very flattering Fancy Dress outfit that is different from the usual Sailor Girl attire!
