I received this Agent Provocateur Titillation gift set as one of a number of gifts on my hen weekend. The gift set contains a Lip Balm and a Nipple Balm. I actually do really love the Agent Provocateur perfume, and so it was kind of a lovely gift i.e. the Lip Balm, and kind of a typical hen night gift i.e. the Nipple Balm!
The 2 balms are very beautifully packaged in cute little black balls with a slightly flat bottom so that they stand up. The lids screw off and the bottom of the ball contains the balm, and the top of the ball contains a little mirror. The mirror is really handy in the top of the lip balm for touch ups of your lip balm whilst your out and about. I'm not really sure why you need the mirror in the top of the nipple balm though! The top of each ball has either 'L' or 'N' on, and also has 'Agent Provocateur Titillation' written around the widest part of the lid. The bottom of the ball has either 'Lip Balm' or 'Nipple Balm' written around the widest part of the base, I guess so that you know which is which and you don't end up putting Nipple Balm on your lips and vice versa!
I have to say that I absolutely love the lip balm. It's actually got quite a lot of colour in for lip balm, it's a very deep pinky red balm. It definitely colours my lips when I wear it, but it just seems to give them a very intense and natural colour, just like my own lips only far more intense. It leaves a sheen on my lips rather than a gloss, but a very noticeable sheen. It doesn't come with an applicator, so you have to use your finger or a separate lip brush. I just use a retractable lip brush with it, I haven't used my finger in this at all as I don't want to get germs and bits in it as it's so lovely. It's a very solid lip balm, and you don't actually need to use much of it.
It smells gorgeous, it has a very subtle Agent Provocateur fragrance to it, which lingers on my lips for a little while after I've applied it.
It is one of the 'tingly' lip plumping lip balms, and it is quite an intense 'tingle', I really like this though and I think that this helps to give my lips that intense glow. I'm not sure that this plumps my lips as such, but it does give them that 'just bitten' look which I suppose does help to make them look fuller.
I'll spare you from an in depth review of the nipple balm, I'll just actually copy from the leaflet enclosed with my gift set!
''Perk up and arouse your senses with this nipple refresher. Nipples stand to attention for this desirable cream containing Wild Indigo, which has been used in Ayurvedic tradition to help stimulate pleasurable sensations. Honey Leaf of Paraguay has been added to help firm and sweeten, whilst natural actives help to protect, moisten and soothe''
It also gives a warning that the nipple balm should not be used by nursing mothers.
The nipple balm does actually smell lovely, again it has that faint Agent Provocateur fragrance. It is a much softer texture than the lip balm, it's a bit like an oily cream, and it's a lovely shimmery bronze colour
I actually really loved this gift, and I think that it bridges the classy yet trashy gift for a hen party brilliantly.
