“ Brand: Bliss / Type: Skin Care / Suitable for: Lip / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types „
I was very excited when I saw this product. I moved to the gulf 18 months ago and the water, sun & AC have all taken their toll on my skin. My top lip is noticably darker than the rest of my face, possibly affects of perspiration and sun. This product looked like the perfect answer and despite the price of £35 plus the P&P I decided it was worth a try.
I have followed the instructions and used it each night after cleansing. It sinks into the skin nicely, feels slightly cool and nicely smooth. Not sure what use the little applicator brush is as you still need to smooth it in but I guess it looks good.
After one month I can honestly say that I have not noticed any improvement at all. I really wanted this product to work and am so sad to say it is a complete waste of money. I still have half a tube to go so will persevere but I really don't hold out a lot of hope.
This product appears to offer a lot:
'Introducing spiff upper lipTM, the only product engineered to address all of the physical factors that exemplify upper lip aging: vertical lip lines, man-worthy moustache hair, that sinister shadowy below-the-nose pigmentation and the slow, subtle, awful loss of collagen that leaves your previously pouty lips limping along. Formulated with a powerful retinol 'patch', GABA, and the most advanced pigment brightening complex we've ever come across.' - from the bliss spa website.
So I was expecting a lot when I paid around £30 for it. I used it conscientiously, twice a day for a month. Unfortunately, it did nothing for me. It was lovely to use - it comes in a handy brush dispenser and the cream itself quickly sank in and was a pleasant texture. It did make my skin smooth - but was no better than any other facial moisturiser. I really wanted it to work, but I can honestly say that after a month of use, there was absolutely no difference to the appearance of my upper lip. From my experience, I would not recommend this product.
