Advantages: Smooth, non-greasy

Disadvantages: none

Blistex Conditioning Lip Balm - It cost around £2 - £2.50 when I bought it from Boots, and it's worth every penny.

I've never liked the feel of anything on my lips, which considering I have dry skin and need a lip balm, has always been an annoyance - I've bought so many to use them 2 or 3 times and no more as they annoyed me. Some I've found have a greasy feel, some felt heavy, some balms clogged.

But thankfully, not this one!

The tube is pretty plain, a peachy coloured lid and end (the bit you turn), inbetween is white. It says Blistex in red, say "Conditioning Lip Balm" and has manufacturing details in english on one side and other languages on the other.

The smell is quite pleasant, it smells of petroleum jelly but it's faint, so not in your face too much, and the other things in it stop it being too chemically.. According to the website it contains Cocoa Butter, camphor and vitamin E, the ingredients list also contains coconut oil.

The balm is a pale yellow colour to look at but goes on clear, it adds some shine too but doesn't look too much. Application is typical just run it over your lips, I sometimes massage it in with my finger is I need it, but either way it does a good job.

The best bit for me is that it doesn't leave your lips greasy, it leaves them feeling natural but hydrated, which for me, is perfect.

No complaints about this product, it's simple and effective, at a very good price.

Summary: A great product you don't have to pay through the roof for.
