Advantages: Light and supremely moisturising.
Disadvantages: None
I swear by the Boots No 7 range of skincare products. I have been using them for a few years now and I can really see the difference they make. It started with THAT review in a beauty magazine. Remember all those women storming Boots and fighting over the last few tubes of serum left on the shelves? Then you had to put your name on a waiting list for when the new stock arrived, it was marketing genius! But seriously, this stuff really delivers what it promises and that's why I am loyal to the brand, even though they have tweaked it and now they have an Intense variety which is more expensive but no better than the original. I say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I'm proud to say that I'm in my naughty forties and when I have been out with my daughter, who is 19, more than one person has mistaken us for sisters. This is obviously a very welcome compliment to me but my daughter, bless her, doesn't feel the same way!
The Protect and Perfect lip care was part of a gift set given to me by said daughter at Christmas. The tube is small and the same pearlescent cream colour as the rest of the range. The great thing about it is that you don't need very much and the moisturising effect lasts all day. I still have loads left and I use it daily so even at the full price of £9.00 it would represent excellent value for money.
The lip balm itself is light and not at all sticky. It sinks into your lips easily and leaves them kissably soft. It smells really good too, like cocoa butter and vanilla, if it was edible it would be a very good white chocolate. I have problems when I use anything heavy like Vaseline as I tend to get little spots around the corners of my mouth but no such trouble with the Boots balm. It has become a part of my beauty routine now and I will definitely buy it again.
Summary: Great results = more kisses!
