Advantages: Nice tube, nice smell

Disadvantages: Doesn't last very long, Product is too hard

I have used quite a few lip balms in the past 6 months. I have just completed a course of roaccutane tablets for my skin which make my lips extremely dry. I have only just purchased this balm based on raving reviews and I have to say i'm not that impressed.

It is a minty beeswax lipbalm in a small yellow tube. I find when putting the product on my lips it is quite hard and rougher than others to apply, I would prefer a softer balm which is easier to put it on. I like the minty smell of the product and tingly feeling once applied as if the product is doing something. Another negative is that the balm does not last very long, maybe about 1 hour max, which isn't enough if you suffer from dry lips.

I like that it comes in a tube rather than a tub and it is easier to apply than having to dip your finger in and making your hands sticky. This product works well as a primer for lipstick but not particularly as an intensive lip balm. The only problem is the actual product, Carmex is 100x better and is actually effective at reducing dry skin. The balm is better than cheap lip balms such as chapstick, but there are better out there.

Summary: Average product there are better out there
