Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub
Advantages: Smells lovely and sweet, nice grainy texture removes all the dead skin and leave soft smooth lips
I have read so many glowing Lush reviews that I decided I had to try these products. There are no Lush stores near me so I made my order online at Lush.co.uk. I had lip scrub on my list to buy as I do suffer from dry chapped lips in winter so searching these on the Lush site and found the Bubblegum lip scrub. There was a few other lip scrubs but the pink colour really attracted me to this item. Lush only use natural ingredients all products are all handmade and not tested on animals.
When my order arrived I was surprised how small the tub of lip scrub is however I was pleased to see it comes in a proper glass tub with screw on lid. Lush bubblegum lip scrub cost £4.95. The glass tub is clear so you can see the pink scrub and it has a black label stating what the product is. The tub holds 25g of Lush bubblegum lip scrub. On the bottom of the glass jar is a sticker saying when it was made and who made it for example mines was made by Lukaz on the 08/11/11 to be used by 08/03/12.
Unscrewing the lid of the tub to see the actual scrub I was greeted with a beautiful scent and hot pink coloured sugar.
Lush bubblegum lip scrub does not smell of bubblegum so much, it actually smells like the snow fairy scent the only reason I can compare it to snow fairy is because I ordered the snow fairy wand at the same time. The scent is sweet like candy floss. Bubblegum lip scrub is made from castor sugar with jojoba oil. The texture is moist but grainy.
To use the lip scrub you just dip a finger into the tub and run your finger across your lips scrubbing gently. Bubblegum lip scrub does melt into the lips although I always have a few crumbs at the corners of my lips. After rubbing across my lips the dead skin cells had been removed and my lips felt smooth , looked noticeably better and in overall good healthy condition. You can use it at any time but I have preferred using it at night before putting on my lip balm.
I have only been using the scrub since the beginning of December so only a small amount is out of my glass tub. I use the lip scrub every night and it is now my favourite beauty product I am so glad I have discovered it. I do find the scent and scrub addictive, I have unscrewed the lid at times just to smell it. I also find myself having a little taste from my lips after use ha ha.
I highly recommend the Lush bubblegum lip scrub its Scrub-diddlyumptious. I give this Lush lip scrub 5 stars it really is a fabulous product.
Summary: I am now a Lush addict
