A great lip butter at a great price.

Whilst shopping in Marks and Spencer's recently I remembered that I had recently read a few positive reviews here on Dooyoo about their lip butter so I decided to treat myself and try some.

There were a few flavours to choose from including Shea Nut and Mandarin but I chose the Passion Fruit one as it sounded like the one that I would like the best.

It cost me £2 for a pot containing 15ml of lip butter which, when compared to the Body Shop Lip Butter at £4.85 for 10ml, is a good price. Thank you fellow Dooyooers for telling me that Marks and Spencer's sell decent lip butter or I may never have even know about it!

The lip butter comes in a clear plastic pot with a screw top. It's about 4cm in diameter and about 1.5cm deep and of course, being plastic, it can be recycled when the contents are finished.

The top of the pot has a picture of passion fruit on it with the words 'passion fruit flavour and skin conditioning benefits for beautiful lips'. Sounds good to me then!

I can't stand my lips to feel dry so I use lip butter or lip salve all the while as I rarely use lipstick. I am always on the lookout for good products at good prices and this one fits that description perfectly.

The lip butter itself is an off white solid cream. All you have to do is to wipe your finger over the surface of the lip butter and then apply it to your lips. According to the information on the base of the pot it is supposed to keep your lips conditioned and moisturised and this is exactly what it does.

The consistency of the product is just right and my lips immediately felt soft and moisturised. The lip butter does not feel greasy and just helps to make my lips feel comfortable again instead of feeling dry irritating me.

The passion fruit flavour and fragrance are both light but pleasant so the lip butter is a joy to use.

There is a warning on the pot advising the user not to get the lip butter in their eyes and, if they do, to wash it out with warm water immediately. Now I am having difficulty imagining a situation where I would be trying to apply lip butter to my lips and missing so badly that it went into my eye!

The other warning is a more reasonable one and this is to keep this product away from children in case they mistake it for something edible since it is sweetly fragranced and flavoured.

In conclusion I would have to say that I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it without hesitation, especially at the price paid.
