      Very helpful

      They look Tasty & Exciting but don't live up to Expectations!

      I bought these Ice Cream lip balms in a pack of 4 on the fashion site ASOS.com at Christmas time (the are also available on Amazon.co.uk). They caught my eye because I love beauty & cosmetic products that look like yummy treats! Since I am an Ice Cream lover I thought these balms seemed perfect for me and since they were only £5 for a pack of 4, I thought they were good value for money. Not only that, but with it also being Winter time my lips were quite dry and chapped anway so I'd had my eye out for a nice Lip Balm.

      When I received the balms they were a lot smaller than I was expecting them to be, but they did still look like really cute little Ice Cream tubs. All 4 flavours looked delicious too, they were;

      Mint Chocolate Chip
      Chocolate Fudge Brownie

      I opened each tub to have a smell, but I was quite dissappointed to find that they barely had any scent at all. They certainly smelled nothing like the flavours they were supposed to be. The Mint Chocolate Chip one smelled like Peas! The balms were the right colours, but just sadly had no scent.

      Worst of all though, the balms are quite solid so it's hard to get a decent amount out of the tiny tubs. You also have to just use your finger to apply these balms to your lips and I found the application of the balms to be very poor as I just couldn't get enough on my finger to properly cover my lips. It also didn't feel smooth at all and I actually felt like I had lots of "bits" on my lips. It also did absolutely nothing for my dry lips either.

      So they may be tasty looking but they don't really suit their purpose as Lip Balms, such a shame!
