“ Brand: Naturaleve / Balm / Type: Lip Balm / What it does: regenerates, „
Believe me when I say I'm not a vain woman. I'm really not. I'm also not the sort of person to sit rubbing my lips with lips balms or whipping out a lipgloss at any given minute either!
When my mate suggested I got some lip balm for my really dry, cracked and sore lips I was opposed to the idea completely saying I couldn't be bothered and that they're always greasy and therefore annoying. She disagreed with me and told me to get some of this as to her it's the best she ever tried! So buy it I did!
The little pot comes in a white, yellow and grey, small slide opening box. On the front of it I'm told that it is Naturaleve 'Organic Beauty' Sweet Lips Lip Balm, With Vanilla 'Super-soft lips, smooth and sweet' and that it meets with soil association organic standards. Other information on the box includes being told a bit about the product, the size is stated which is 7ml, ingredients are listed and contact details for BrooksHill LTD are given (the manufacturer of the product). The pot is silver and the top half of it twists on/off and on the lid of that once again your told what it is and on the bottom ingredients are again listed with the size stated. Nice, simple packaging this is and it looks like a product that may work rather than looking overly pretty or anything like that.
A Bit About The Product According To The Information Given On The Box:
It's hard to smile when lips are dry and tight. Soft lips feel good, smooth lips look good and supple lips smile. Keep them happy and looking irresistible with frequent applications of Sweet Lips Lip Balm with natural vanilla, softening shea butter, moisturising oils and vitamin e.
No parabens, petrochemicals, SLS, artificial preservatives, colours or fragrances.
The Lip Balm:
This product is excellent and this comes from someone who really didn't want to buy it let alone use it! It comes in the pot as a cream coloured, solid, round block. You gently rub your finger over it to which some of the oils melt on touch and you simply smear it over the lips.
It has a wonderful gentle aroma of vanilla though it contains no taste and when putting applying it to the lips it feels creamy and moisturising rather than greasy and it certainly doesn't appear greasy either and in actual fact you can't detect it at all.
I like the way this sinks into the lips upon touch and you can't see it. I like the natural relief it gives to dry, sore lips making them feel more supple. I like the way you can put it on and over flaky bits of skin on the lips too without it making you wince or hit the ceiling!
In the short term it offers relief, in the long term it really does hydrate the lips and where as at first I was using it a few times a day, I now use it as a top-up treatment to stop any further problems arising.
I love this product and costing about £4.99 a small pot it seems a lot to pay but this really isn't a cosmetic product but a treatment and a cure and it lasts ages!
Say byebye to chapped and ugly lips and hydrate threm in one easy step. This is truly fabby on every level!
Expect to pay around £4.99 a small pot in places like Superdrug and Boots.
