Nivea Soft Rose Lip Balm

Having very chapped lips over the winter I have been stocking up on lip balms. The Nivea Lip balm was picked up in Lloyds the Chemists for £1 - a special offer as it is usually £1.99.

The product is very similar to a lipstick, in that the pick lid comes off, and the product twists up from the bottom. The balm itself is pearly pink colour very similar to the lid, and has a faint aroma of flowers. Like other nivea lip balms it a very lovely silky product to apply, and it isn't at all grainy, or gritty when it is on.

I tend to apply this over my lip stain product, which gives a wonderful dark pink colour, however on it's own it's a lovely soft pink shade. The balm doesn't make your lips sticky, so your hair is unlikely to get caught in this product.

Mine has been on the go for around 3 months now, and the packaging is still in one piece - some of the writing has worn off but there are no cracks or splits in the lid.

With 'normal' wear it probably lasts about 2 hours but this is cut short for example if your out drinking or sat having a meal.

I highly recommend this product, it's lovely on, and keeps your lips nice and soft. Although if they are already sore, and chapped you may need a more intensive product to promote healing.

Summary: It's a total bargain for the price
