“ Brand: Nuxe / Texture: Cream / Type: Moisturiser / What it does: Repairs, Restores, Hydrates, Moisturizes, Protects, Nourishes / Dermatologically tested: yes „
So a cream, whether it be a whipped mousse effect is not for you? Then maybe a normal chapstick is better.
I find as much as I love the cream of this product for lips this can be more practical to carry around and apply when in meetings and such, less issue of applying especially before you wash your hand this is possible more hygienic.
Is this any different more the cream? YES!!
The ingredients are especially:
This really will combat those cold winters weeks or months we are facing and even in the summer this really is fantastic against sun damage. Although I stress that doesn't say it on the product, I spent a few days out in the few days of sun we had and I didn't think to change this to an SPF one and it kept my lips hydrated and moisturised all day long. I found this was better to use in the winter months at work while travelling around London and I really only applied this once every four hours and that's with drinking tea and coffee in between because the sensation of nourishment and being moisturised meant you really didn't think about those painful chapped lips because this either healed them or prevented it.
This smells wonderful, achieves great results and well worth the £6 as it last, maybe not all year, I think that depends on the person, but found this lasted about six months in total. Again a great long term saving I think.
This lip balm comes in a stick form or a pot form . If you get it in the pot form it is double the price so you would be better off getting the stick as it is cheaper and more hygienic as you don''t hand to keep sticking your finger into the product.it is very good for chapped or dry lips as it is so mouisterizing. This is one of the best lip balms I have ever tried and I have a lot such as babylips and eos and this beats them hands down. It contains many different oils which are all very beneficial to the lips especially in the colder months for. October to January. It is travel friendly as is allowed in hand luggage and cannot smash as it is in a plastic tube unlike the other version which is in a glass container. The balm feels very nice on the lips as it is very creamy. It doesn''t irratate my lips the slightest bit, which is always a good thing. It is available in America, the United Kingdom and France etc. the best place to get this product from in the United Kingdom is probably feel unique. They offer free worldwide delivery which always comes in handy. Overall I would definitely recommend this product as it is so good at healing your lips and making sure they stay very hydrated . Also the balm is clear so would be absolutely perfect for school as it doesn''t have any colour at all.
Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Moisturising Stick
I bought this after hearing a lot of good things about the brand and the lip balm (the pot version). It was a tiny bit expensive (in my opinion) but it is worth it! I have now used up this product so I thought it was time for a review.
- Product description (from feelunique.com)
"With its ultra practical size, NUXE Reve de Miel Stick Levres Hydratant Lip Moisturizing Stick protects and soothes chapped or dry lips at any time of the day. Enough to put a smile on your lips, even in winter!"
- About the product
This lip balm comes in a stick form which is the one I have and it also comes in a pot form which is double the price - hence the reason why I bought the stick version. The stick is about 4g, it is made in france and Nuxe is a French brand. It contains honey and sunflower - among a lot of other ingredients such as lemon peel oil, rice bran oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, vegetable oil and more.
- Using the product
I have a lot of lip balms (I am a bit of a lip balm horder). I have tried so many and I really like this one, I do prefer stick lip balms rather than pot lip balms as they are just more hygienic, easier and quicker to use and more travel use friendly. I usually have one in my bag and quite a lot in my makeup drawers. This one twists up, it is easy/quick to use and it is clear so there is no tint. It does have a slight scent of honey/wax to it which I like but you can't taste it. It glides onto the lips so smoothly and it is glossy to an extent. The balm feels smooth, rich and softening on the lips - it does not irritate my lips and it keeps my lips hydrated for quite a while - touch ups are required throughout the day though. It feels nice on the lips, it keeps them feeling comfortable but in my opinion it is not as good as the Caudalie lip conditioner which is one of my all time favourite lip balms (along with the very expensive Rodial Glam Balm and the Burts Bees Beeswax Balm). Overall, a great product - well worth trying out.
- Price and availability
I bought this balm a while ago from feelunique.com which ships worldwide for free! It cost me about £5 but it is now £5.50 on the site. It can also be bought from other online stores and maybe ebay.
*Quick, easy and fuss free to use
*Some good/natural ingredients and it is fairly widely available online
*Keeps lips soft, smooth and hydrated to an extent for a good while
*Doesn't irritate the lips and it lasts for a few months
