Advantages: Looks great, smells gorgeous, lasts for several hours.

Disadvantages: Slightly sticky after application, but it eventually wears off.

Claiming to be 'A glossy and moisturising lip balm, with a sweet fruity flavour, that leaves lips looking and feeling soft, smooth and kissable', it was exactly what i was looking for, as i had been suffering from rough, chapped lips during the harsh winter months.

Price
The Body Shop are currently retailing this product on their website at £2.00 for 10ml. Instore these prices seem to vary from that of online, so it's a good idea to look around instore to catch the best deal.

The Packaging
It's comes as a little, round container, which is handy so you can get all of the product out, instead of having trouble to with a bottle or wand-type lipbalm. It's transparent plastic and you can see the lip balm inside which is a lovely pink colour. The lid is clear and screws off much like a bottle top does. The lid opens and closes without much effort. On the lid there is a circle sticker with the logo and some information on the top. On the bottom there is a sticker which you can pull the end of to reveal a book which contains the ingredients and other useful information. There would be no chances of spillages or breakages as it seems to be a very, sturdy plastic. And it's nice and small, so you can slip it into your bag and take it to re-apply anywhere. It's also recyclable.

The Product
The product itself is a lovely pink, rosey colour. When you scoop some out you can see that it's a very light pink colour. It's quite goo-ey and sticky and smells like raspberries. In the container, the lip balm is solid but when you touch it with your fingertip it starts to melt making application a lot easier. It does have a nice taste, but not one that will have you licking your lips all day, which i've found i do with other lip balms. The lip balm contains Strawberry fruit extract to hels provide a natural fruity flavour, Community Trade beeswax from Zambia which moisturises and helps condition the lips and acts as a barrier that helps to seal in moisture, and Lanolin which is one of nature's richest moisturisers. The Zambian Honey that is used in their products comes from the remote tropical forests of north west Zambia, where it's farmed using traditional methods that preserve the forest and beekeepers' way of life. The Body Shop are also against animal testing, so this is a perfect product if you believe in animal welfare, like myself. The lip balm also comes in many different flavours such as Strawberry, Passionberry, Pink Guava, Mango & Peach, Watermelon and Satsuma. The lip balm will be a different colour relating to each flavour.

The Application
The application is very simple, you simply scoop out the desired amount with your fingertip and massage into your lips. For maximum results, exfoliate the lips first before using the lip balm.

The Results
After you apply, the lip balm can be very sticky on the lips, and i sometimes find that if my hair gets anywhere near my lips it tends to stick. The sticky-ness goes away after a minute or so and leaves you with smooth, lucious, moist lips. It gives you a sheen, glossy lip effect and it gives you lip a nice, light pink tint. I could feel that my lips were moisturised for several hours after application. Although my lips became a lot more smoother than what they were, they were still minorly chapped, but i wasn't expecting miracle results!

Downfalls
The only downfall with this product would be that it goes sticky after application, but this wears off a few mintues later.

Overall
This product moisturises and smooths out your lips, and lasts for a good several hours. It definetely helps keep your lips in good condition during the winter months, and i will definetely be purchasing another tub. One tub should last you a good few months with daily use.
If your looking for a product that will give you lucious, kissable, glossy lips then i definetely recommend investing in a pot!

Summary: A great lipbalm for the winter months. Worth investing in a pot.
