Having heard some brilliant things about their lip butter, I decided that I simply could not put off buying a tub any longer. After several moments of pondering over the lip butter section of the shop. I chose the Shea variety because normally I tend to stick to the more fruity scents; however, I thought that Shea would make a very pleasant change. Also, I had owned the Shea body butter before and thou...more

The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter: I don't know how Shea does it! (550 words)

Body shop Shea lip butter The facts and figures  The Body Shop Shea Butter is one of several varieties of lip butters available firm the Body Shop. It is priced currently at £4 for a dinky 10ml tub. The Shea butter comes in a beige coloured tub with a picture of Shea nuts on the top (ever wondered what a Shea nut looked like? Me neither, but now we know). The tub is compact and easy to carry around, although it could be a bit flatter in my opinion. When you open the pot, there is quite a gap between the product and lid which is essentially wasted space and, whilst you could never call the product oversized, I do think a slight 'flattening' of the tub ...  Read the complete review

I have fallen in love with this product. I normally use the good old vaseline which everyone has used but about a year ago i got introduced to the body shop and have since tried many products from there. This product stands out for me. Price: the price for my is the biggest downside to the product so I am getting it out of the way so I can focus on the good stuff!! It costs 4 pounds!! I would have never bought this product for 4 pounds if I had not tried the product before hand. I got my first pot as a christmas present and was over the moon about it because i always wanted it... but being a student i could not bring my self to spend my money on this. I ...  Read the complete review

I suffer with dry lips so find it a necessity to always have access to a good quality lip balm. I usually use good old vaseline, but i recently started getting bored of it so decided that a change was needed. While browsing The Body Shop's website, i came across there own brand of Shea Lip Butter. I've never heard of 'Lip Butter' before, but as i am a fan of the Body Shop's high quality Body Butter's, i decided to try this. The Body Shop describe this product as a buttery balm that melts onto the lips for instant hydration. I really don't agree! The lip butter comes in a round 10ml plastic pot, which is a creamy white colour. The pot is like a mini ...  Read the complete review

A Decent Lip Balm But Ugly Residue! (677 words)

The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter is something which I picked up in the winter months to aid my dry, chapped lips and see how effective it would work. Because in the winter my lips can go through quite a lot of damage, I wanted to be sure that I was purchasing a good quality product which I knew was likely to resolve the problem, and this is why I chose to buy something from The Body Shop. I purchased in from in store, however it is also available on their website, and it retails at £4.00. Although this seems like quite a steep price for a lip product, I think it is a very reasonable price considering the store which I brought it from, and I would have expected ...  Read the complete review

The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter: Looking after my lips (1152 words)

Products from The Body Shop have always been something I absolutely love to use, partly because they all smell absolutely gorgeous and good enough to eat. They are always extremely high quality and I have been using them for a number of years now and I have experienced the majority of their range, both make up and skin care. I have a friend who hosts their parties, so I sometimes make a purchased or two in that situation, often having been persuaded after a few glasses of wine! When it comes to lips, they can be a little bit awkward to say the least, particularly during the harsh and cold winter months. Unlike the rest of the body they cannot moisturise ...  Read the complete review
