This is a small circular metal tin containing 20g of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. This is intended to be used to help protect your lips or to help care for cracked lips. It costs around £1.09.

Opinion
This is a staple for any make up bag. It has so many uses. The main use for this product is to protect or repair your lips if they are dry. For this use, the product works really well. I suffer from quite dry lips in winter so I always have one of these little pots to hand. It is greasy as it is petroleum jelly. So lasts on your lips a long time. And it works very well. I find that if I go over the outline of my lips with this it can cause little spots around my mouth so be sure to apply it within your lip line.

There are other uses for this though. I suffer from quite dry hands and if they are really bad I will apply some of this product to my hands when I go to bed at night and it helps them rehydrate and come back to their normal self.

I found the next use for this by accident one night when I had my dry hands covered in vaseline. I lay my hand on my face and I noticed that some vasline has transferred onto an area on my face which had some spots on it. I decided just to leave it and see what happened. (Now this is going to sound a little confusing considering my comment above about vaseline sometimes causing spots around my mouth!) In the morning there had been an improvement in where the spot was! Now, I'm not suggesting you go and cover your face in vaseline, but it may be worth dabbing a little bit on an area where you have a spot and see if it has any effect on you.

My final use for this product is to rub this onto my eyelids to make my eyeshadow glossy. It totally changes the look of your eyeshadow. It can make your eyelids a little sticky so just use up to the crease of your eye.

Such a little pot, but so many uses!
