I don't know of any girl who doesn't cite Vaseline as a beauty essential. It's a godsend when travelling light: a lipbalm, a brow tamer, an eyelash treatment, a soothing agent for cracked skin. It comes in two main sizes, a larger pot for use at home and the 20g travel size. There are several different varities to the travel size, the original, one with aloe vera and one with an spf also.

Vaseline is great in the winter as the cold weather tends to play havoc with my skin and I end up with dry and nasty looking lips that are also very tender and sore. A liberal application of Vaseline leaves them looking smooth again. Vaseline is also useful as a gloss; I often wear it over matte lipsticks to add a nice sheen and it isn't sticky like lipglosses usually are. The price is brilliant considering just how many things it can be used for. Definitely one of my top products.
