Vaseline Lip Therapy in the Aloe Vera version is one thing that I really cannot do without. I have been using these little tins of vaseline on my lips for years now and I always have a few in different bags so my lips are never without them. My lips feel dry if I do not apply this vaseline, especially right before I go to bed and I find it really does help to keep them nice and smooth until morning and stops them cracking throughout the day.

Vaseline lip therapy is basically a small tub/tin of Petroleum jelly. It is much like a wax like substance although it is not as sticky as a wax. It is a solid but can be broken down quite easily when rubbed onto the skin and often melts in hot weather. The tins are round little discs and contain 20g of vaseline. The thing I like about the tin of Vaseline is that it is pocket size and very handy to slip in your bag. The tin measures about 5cm in diameter and 1.5cm deep. The tin has a circular lid that is sometimes hard to get on but good because it stays on and if the jelly does get hot and melts a little the nice thing is none escapes because the lid is on so tightly.

There are different varieties of the vaseline but like I've said above I prefer the aloe vera version. I really like aloe vera in beauty products as I think it has really good healing properties and really works for my skin. This lip therapy with aloe vera comes in a green and white tin. The vaseline itself has a slight smell to it. This one is quite sweet and has a bit of a herb like smell to it which I assume is the aloe vera in it. The vaseline is clear and goes onto the lips very well. It soaks in straight away and leaves a bit of a shine on my lips but it is not sticky or gloopy like some other lip products and is very light to wear.

A 20g tin costs just £1.39 so is a very cheap and affective beauty product.
