Advantages: Smells yummy
Disadvantages: dislike the plain one
Vaseline has always been the go to for chapped lips but i have to admit i was never a fan of the blue tin and non-appealing no scent ky jelly in a tin.
After receiving a gift set from my boyfriend last Christmas i had the joy of not one but 3 different kinds. The set consisted of plain, aloe vera, the pink one and the cocoa one. At first the pink one was my favourite for the pink tint it gave my lips but after waking up to find my white pillow case stained bright pink i immediately turned to the cocoa one.
The smell is gorgeous it just reminds me of body butter. I seem to get chapped lips at night so always have a tin nearby. The tin makes it easy to be portable and doesnt make a mess in your handbag. I find that even though i apply this alot it lasts a long time. I got the gift set last year and still have all four of them - slightly less full than they were last year obviously. Vaseline isn't just for lips i use it to rub in to my dry areas before tanning and it works wonders - no brown knees and elbows! I also like to use it as a highlighter under my brow bone for quick natural makeup that isn't overly shimmery. It's good for defining the eyebrows too. Makes my chapped lips disappear and smells great.
Summary: Smells good and easily portable
