About Disaronno:
Dated back to 1525, Disaronno is a version of Amaretto. The drink is the colour of honey and has a very distinctive almond-marzipan flavour to it. The most commonly found sized bottle in supermarkets is 50cl and you can generally pick this up for around £13-14. It can be drunk neat or is also really nice mixed with coke. It is sometimes found in cocktails too. Its alcohol content is 28% so if you do drink it neat, I would recommend only having a very small amount as it is quite strong. Easy to find in the supermarket; it is a rectangular shaped bottle with a chunky large square black lid.

I drink Disaronno because it is easy to drink, really tasty and has a real distinctive flavour to it. It is however, quite sweet due to the marzipan flavour in it so you must have a sweet tooth to enjoy and after a few it may become a little sickly. I also find that it is easy to drink a lot without realising because it is so sweet and smooth so be careful to watch how much you have. A few times, I have drank more than I have realised and have ended up really hungover or sick!

This drink really nice with ice and coke, but as I've said its so easy to drink so be careful. It's really refreshing and nice on a summers day. Because it is so smooth it is also a light drink and does not leave me feeling bloated which is always a plus on a night out.
