A nice change from wine
Member Name: brady58
Advantages: Refreshing and tasty
Disadvantages: Too many can be sickly
I know alcopops don't have the greatest reputation but I like to drink them on a night out. I like sweet drinks and a lot of the time in a bar I don't want a glass as with so many people I am always getting nudged and spilling my drink so it is easier to have a bottle of something instead.
Bacardi Breezers are something that I have been drinking for years when I go out. Most places sell them so they are easily available and I like the fact that they are sweet but also they aren't very strong and take me longer to drink because there is more liquid in them than a glass so I can have a few and be less drunk that I would be if I stuck to drinking vodka or Bacardi and coke all night.
I know that defeats the purpose for some people but I like to go out and get tiddly and not completely drunk as I really can't handle the hangovers the next day.
Breezers come in loads of different flavours now but my favourite is still the orange one because it actually has an orange taste to it. The drink is slightly fizzy and tastes a lot like orangeade. The flavour of the Bacardi is there but it isn't overpowering and doesn't make me shudder after drinking it.
The bottles have 4% alcohol in them and I think they are really nice and refreshing especially in summer and are a nice drink for a barbeque if you don't like beer or are sick of drinking wine. They are very sweet though so you probably wouldn't want to drink too many of them as they might leave you feeling a bit sickly.
They are quite expensive when you buy them in a bar and cost around about £2.50 but you can buy a pack of four bottles in the supermarket for only £4.75. They are a nice drink to have in the fridge for those times you just fancy something a little bit different but always make sure they are cold because they are horrible when they are warm.
