Advantages: The mint really compliments the Bailey's

Disadvantages: I'd like an even stronger taste of mint

Other than the original version the Bailey's with a hint of mint chocolate is my favourite of all the different flavours. Mint just compliments the creaminess of the Bailey's perfectly without overpowering the original taste of the creamy liqueur.

I can smell the mint as soon as I pour a glass and it is really inviting alongside the sweet smell of the liqueur. My sister disagrees with me and says she can barely smell the mint but I think my sense of smell is obviously just better as this has a gorgeous aroma to it.

It looks just the same colour as the original Bailey's and is a really luxurious looking pale cream colour. The texture is lovely and thick and it all just combines to look and taste rich and creamy.

The taste of mint isn't a strong one but there is a slight hint of it when you have a drink but to be honest the majority of the mint flavour comes after you have swallowed and are left with a slight after eight flavour in your mouth.

The minty flavour really compliments the Bailey's and I think it is a really successful combination and one that I enjoy regularly especially in winter as it is such a warming drink.
You do need to make sure that you have this with ice however as it really does make the Bailey's taste better.

There is also something about the slight hint of mint that makes this a little bit less sickly than the other flavours and I can easily drink a few glasses of this without feeling sick.

It has an ABV of 17% but other than the slight burn when you first drink it you would be hard pressed to know that it had this amount of alcohol in it as the taste is really masked with the sweetness and it can be deceptive as a few glasses of this and you will be drunk.

This really isn't the drink to have though if you are on a diet as it is so rich that I absolutely dread to know how many calories might be in it. I do think it is worth it though as an occasional treat.

This costs around about £17 for a litre bottle and I would always try and buy the litre instead of a smaller bottle as I know how quickly this goes when it is in the house.
