Ok what can i say... Baileys Irish Cream... yummy!

Ingredients include Irish cream, Irish Whiskey, Chocolate, vanilla, caramel and sugar and does not contain preservatives. Its 17% alcohol

Baileys went on sale in 1974 as the first Irish Cream on the market.
they trade under the name of andrew Baileys, R.A Baileys although it was a made up name and there is no such person , they just though it was good marketing.

there are 4 flavours...Original, mint, coffee and caramel

Baileys is used commonly with ice, in cocktails or served in coffee.

A common drink is a baileys latte which involves...

50ml Baileys with a hint of coffee
300ml milk
25g dark chocolate
Whipped cream
Dark chocolate curls

You boil the milk and pour half over the chocolate leave a minute to melt then whisk to make it smooth, then add the baileys and the rest of the milk and carry on whisking till smooth, pour apply cream and sprinkle on the chocolate curls (gratted chocolate) and nutts.

For a more simple baileys coffee just use a measure of Baileys in a cup of coffee and then top it up with steamed milk and cream.

My favorite baileys cocktail is a white russian..
which is a shot of vokda, a shot of Tia Maria and topped up with Baileys,
its not a russian drink its just called that because it contains vodka.
I have tryed cheaper Irish cream such as Irish medow which were just as nice but they are not as thick and dont work as well in cocktails if you need to create layers as they are too watery.

Häagen-Dazs now has a Baileys flavoured ice cream and Ben and Jerry's also have a Bailey's Irish Cream in their Dublin Mudslide.

in 2003 Baileys released a alcho pop called a Baileys Glide which were lovely but they were expensive to drink and only small bottle so i dont think they were popular and were discontinued pretty quick unfortuntely.

Summary: whisky and cream a perfect combination :)
