Advantages: Tastes amazing
Disadvantages: Doesn't get you drunk....no matter how much you drink
Malibu is my favourite drink of all time. I've tried various cheaper versions, but nothing half as good.
Malibu comes in a white bottle with a dark brown lid. It also has brown writing and a picture of two palm trees and a sunset on the front. It is completely clear in appearance.
This is a caribbean white rum with coconut which is produced in Barbados. My personal preference is to drink it with coke or pepsi, but I have been known to drink it with pineapple if I'm just wanting to have a relaxing drink with a subtle taste of coconut to it. I kno many people who drink it on the rocks-although I think it ruins the taste.
As with anything, the price of Malibu has increased quite a lot in recent years. In my local supermarket the prices are as follows:
It's alcohol percentage is 21% but when added with a mixer Malibu doesn't really taste like it has any alcohol in it.
I always think think this drink tastes really refreshing. It is the ideal drink for anyone with a sweet tooth, but not so much for people who prefer anything dry. Malibu tastes great in all weathers, but it is great as a summer drink.
I would recommend this drink to anyone- but if you're after a drink which will get you drunk, then this is the wrong one for you.
Summary: Relaxing drink that goes down remarkably quick
