Malibu is a really nice drink that is quite popular in many bars. It is clear rum based drink with coconut flavours. It is sold in nice white bottles.

Advantages
Tastes delicious- the fruit flavours are great.
Very versatile- can be mixed with many different fruit juices (cranberry or pineapple juice are popular), can also be mixed with fizzy drinks such as coke or lemonade. Can also be used in various cocktails
Very smooth drink that goes down easily.
It has quite a high alcohol content (21%) but it doesn't really taste like you are drinking something so high . This can be an advantage or disadvantage as it does go to your head quite quickly as it is so easy to drink.

Disadvantages
The price- a 70cl bottle is around £15 which is quite expensive and it is even more expensive in bars or clubs and isn't usually included in drink deals so it is expensive to drink all of the time.
High in sugar and calories- a glass of malibu and coke is over 150 calories. This also means that it quickly becomes quite sickly and maybe isn't the best to drink over a long period of time.

Nice drink but best as a one off or occasional treat
