Passoa is one of my favourite drinks to have although it is something that I don't tend to have very often when I do I always think how nice it is and how different it is to everything else that is out there.

It is a passion fruit base liquor and it is one of the few drinks that I have ever tasted that gets the combination of alcohol and fruit juices right as they are in perfect harmony with each other. The drink is sweet but not overly so and it doesn't make me feel sick after only a couple of glasses.

The taste of passion fruit is quite strong and it doesn't taste as artificial as some such as those that are in some alcopops. The taste of passion fruit is quite unusual and this tastes more like a cocktail to me than a liquor.

It is really fruity and refreshing and is the perfect summer drink and it is one that I enjoy drinking and always reminds me of being somewhere tropical when I have it. This is to do with the taste obviously but also because of the colour of the drink which is a lovely pinky orange and also the smell which is tropical and fruity.

It is quite a dangerous drink to have when I am out but only because it is so nice and you really can't taste the alcohol that I can end up drinking more of these than I intended.

My favourite way to drink this is with lemonade but it can also be mixed with fruit juice and even coke and it is one of those drinks that goes well with loads of different combinations. I probably wouldn't drink it straight as then it can be ever so slightly bitter but mixed with lemonade it is lovely and sweet but refreshing.

Passoa makes a great base for making cocktails at home and you can easily make loads of different cocktails using this that taste just as good as they do in a bar.
The alcohol content is 17% and a bottle of Passoa should cost you around about £11 which I think is a really good price for something so tasty.
