Provident Personal Credit: ... been a Provident customer for around 3 Years now. Had both of their offerings, cash and voucher. They do offer a Credit Card also, but Ive never tried for it. So, the Vouchers. Spendable at some of the biggest names on the street. HMV, Farmfoods, Argos, Comet... many, many places, and a full list available from their website. Sadly, no places that sell beer. Hehe. The repayment on the vouchers are a lot cheape...

	Student Loans Co. ... loans, grants etc is a huge farse. The system is just so complicated! I started university sept 08, received the basic tuition loan and maintenance loan due to the government saying my parents earn enough to help me out. I cant get any grants through the university due to my parents earning enough. So for my first year i have lived off my mum and dad. But others have received extra loans and grants but have relatively the same background as myself. Between the date i applied for my loans and now, my parents have struggled with cash due to the credit crunch, but does this mean im entitled more next year to help me out?!?! 	Student Loans Co. ... have had dealings with the Student Loans Company now for around eight years. The small loan with which I was issued when I went to university in 2002 has sat gathering dust for most of that time until the past three months during which I decided to pay it back. I initially enquired why no deductions had been made; neither SLC nor the Inland Revenue could answer that question, though as one would expect, both said it was the other one s fault. In sheer despair at the matter, I decided that I would ignore both and simply make voluntary repayments myself. 	Smile ... bank with Smile so they seemed the natural first choice of lenders to apply for a loan with. As I was already a customer it was easy to apply - literally just a few clicks as they already have all of my details on the system. You are given an enrolment number to track the progress of your application online so you can see when things move forward. I originally applied for £15k on the Monday night. Tuesday morning I had a call from the Smile Loans team to confirm a few details, but to my surprise when I checked the Application Tracker it said I had been declined.
