Student Loans Co. ... imagine that the vast majority of UK students studying an undergraduate degree will take out a loan with SLC at some time or another. I was no exception. I found the setting-up process straightforward, the money was received into my account on the correct dates each time, and I even applied for a loan top-up in my final year which was approved and received without issue. After graduating, you have until April of the following calendar year before your repayments become due. You have to earn at least £15,000 before you have to make repayments, and then the money will be removed from your salary by your employer before you receive it so you don t have to worry about setti... BarclayLoan ... writing this review I would caution you to really think long and hard before making the decision to take out a loan. However as I had given this quite a bit of thought, I initially went down the route of going to my local bank to find out what they could offer me in terms of the loan amount and most importantly the APR. Now the first thing I had done prior to setting out obtaining a loan was ensuring that my credit rating was in a good state. Having checked out my credit rating and being happy with the state of it, I then made an appointment to see a representative from Barclays. Provident Personal Credit ... have come into a bit of a monetary issue, we need a car desperately, just a little old banger really, but at the minute we have no money to get one, even if it s only for a couple of hundred pound, but we can t get credit, and wouldn t ever get credit on a car again after the problems it caused last time, and the huge cost of just the interest on it (tell me when a car is worth £3500, why we were paying 150% interest on that and paying £9000...this is for a 3 year old Ford Fiesta, bog standard!).
