For those of you who have read my review on 'Freedom Finance', you will already know that I was not impressed with Alliance and Leicester. I thought it would be useful, however, to provide a more detailed account of the experiences I had with this company. I am used to using the car finance packages that lock you in for ever and a day and charge you the earth for the privilege. Also, by the time you have completed the 24 or 36 months, it is likely that the company will have changed hands at least once. So.... I discovered the Car Purchase Plan from the Alliance & Leicester. Simple application form completed on their Internet Site on a Sunday evening in August. I received a phone call on Monday lunchtime to confirm one detail.
