**1st National Bank plc is now part of G E MONEY** (or Shylocks-R-us) Owned by US General Electric. I took out a home improvement loan to replace windows, doors, roof, etc. over 15 yrs. Insured payment protection. Higher than average interest. You spend the 1st few yrs clearing only the interest off the loan then start to clear the borrowed amount, basically if you find you are in a position to clear your loan early, you'll still have lost thousands in interest. Two Years ago My girlfriend and I decided tohave a fitted kitchen put in as the old one was falling to peices, So we picked out a kitchen design and fitting company to install our new kitchen.
