Advantages: Makes students understand money much faster

Disadvantages: less students are deciding to go to University

I'm afraid to face the facts here and say that the limit of student loans available nowadays are putting students off in going to university. Although students understand that with university, comes debt....they don't like to be too far under so then they can't live afterwrds as they're forever paying back their money. What i can't understand is WHY they changed the rules of student loans because as far as I was concerned, the loans then worked quite well. Its a shame that they are no longer here but who knows, perhaps it'll make us students grow up and adapt to the fast lane much faster!
