Advantages: none, but a necessary evil!

Disadvantages: Too many to mention

As most students will agree a student loan is an essential part of campus life, however last year I had a complete nightmare trying to get my loan organised. I first applied for it in early March but it took them until June - 2 days before the closing date for applications before they processed it, then they gave me the wrong amount - short by £300. The staff in general were nice but seing as I got a different answer every time I phoned I couldn't help thinking that they are a bit clueless. My advice is to apply as early as possible!
