Student loans are available to students at university, when I was studying a couple of years ago, I was on a student grant with dependants allowances for my two children.I also worked part time. I was determined not to get into debt before I had even re trained for my new career.
Then a fellow student asked why I was not taking out the loan, I explained why and she then made the suggestion of buying premium bonds each term and at the end of my course cash them in and repay the maoney.
This is a very useful idea as it gives you many chances to win extra money on the premium bonds together with the option to cash them in at any time.
I didnt take her idea up but I am sure it would be useful to many students who like me didnt actually want to "spend" the loan and then have diffculty repaying it.

Summary:
