I in no way approve of the new system of paying fees and the abolishment of the student grants, however we just have to accept that it has happened, and I would therefore recommend getting a student loan.

The interest rate for the loan is currently 2.1% which means that you pay back in real terms what you borrowed due to inflation. I would recommend getting a student loan even if you don't immediently need the cash because by putting it into a high interest savings account it can actually make you money!
