Advantages: Credit

Disadvantages: Having no car as it WILL break down as soon as you drive away

I have a bad credit score, yes my own fault but my car was getting old a g reg toyota celica the drive shafts were getting noisy. so i saw the advert on the net for yes car credit, nipped down and booked an appointment, went back two days later with all my docs and started looking at some cars they said i could get with my wage. Finnally picked a ROVER 200 VI, nice looking car too so deal done and off we went, the next day the alternator fell off, which got fixed then the head gasket went 2 weeks later lost the car for 1 1/2 weeks no transport and no replacement car while mine was getting fixed.

now comes the good bit i got the car on the 26th july alternator went on the 27th head went on the 14th alternator fell off again on the 27th august and finally clouds of smoke appeared on the 9th of october a month before i was getting married in scotland, they promised a week to get fixed , i have now got married had to buy a cheap car to get me to the wedding on time nov 5th, still waiting for my car back now its now the 13th november and no car, i am still having to pay for it, £170.88 a month plus insurance and tax. total cost of £250 ish a month so in total i have used the car for around 2 months .

and the never call you back keeping you on hold forever, total minutes used on mobile is 100+ to YCC

Thanks YCC for a great trouble free car that your advert says is better then you p.x car.

Argh!!!! plead to people not to use YCC.

Coming soon a speak out forum about YCC site http://www.nocarcredit.co.uk

Unfortunately, just because they advertise a lot doesn't mean the cars they sell are any good. With a car as old as yours must be, being a Rover 200, it undoubtedly had had a lot of use. Being an old Rover, it was never likely to be reliable. Just read my experiences here with my almost brand-new MG ZT! You really need to get the AA to check it over before you commit. It could have saved you a whole heap of trouble.

Tsk @ Angus...typical salesman :O)

welcome to Dooyoo. Yep, I've heard YCC can be a bit ropey. Eek...I don't think I'd use 'em. Good luck on the site and I hope you write and post more stuff. Mara.
